From how it looks, the tripod or the tripod mount you used for the test is what gave out rather than the device itself, meaning that with a strong enough mount or tripod it should be able to handle a heavier camera like a DSLR.
Yes you're right...!! its fails on mirrorless cam because of the small tripod.

It'll be nice to be able to adjust the rotating speed to slower.
The camera test would probably work with a more stable base, like a mini tripod for heavier cameras.
Looks like it was the ball head that gave way rather than the tracker with the mirrorless camera. You need to try it on just tripod legs with no ball head to remove that weak link.
I did mount it in a metal tripod :) on the tests Ive done outside

Do you think this would work for basketball? I'm looking for something that would keep the camera on me on both sides of the court, whether I'm on offense or defense.
If you can have someone manually control it then yes. You can also check hohem go which i have a review it function similar it but it has a better tracking.

Do you know of any one where instead of face tracking, it'll come with a tracking device that you can clip on or leave in your pocket and it will track that instead of faces? These face tracking ones don't seem to be the best for sports.
Hello, tha ks for the video. And, I'm wondering if you have a recomendation for a good flexible tripod. I'm using the tracking telesin that comes with light, cellular mount and tripod (ball head is week), so when tracking and stops just shakes (maybe due the weight of the lights) so the video doesn't look good. Any flexible tripod with the quality sturdy? I have seen reviews about the new jody 3k and 5k and it looks like they broke fast. Any recommendation? Thanks
I would try searching the andoer section… for tripods as they produce quality yet affordable ones.

Hey man i think its not waterproof but its a lil bit splash proof. I would say IR not bluetooth since it uses button cell
I did some DIY mods on mine with 3D printing and a replacement CCTV lens, so I've actually had a chance to look at the internals.
After opening it up, I can say that it is NOT waterproof or splash proof. It's simply a delicate array of exposed circuits within a simple plastic housing.
Don't go trying anything too crazy 😂
just got one and the motoe seem to spin quite fast... the website say 13 second for one full circle but look like it about 5-6 seconds for one full round.. so when i record 360, video move too fast.. is there a way to adjust the speed? thank you... also timelapse doesnot work.. they say long press bottom one and the white light flashing but never did lol

When you put your mirrorless- it's the problem with mini tripod, not the unit. Put it on large sturdy tripod- and it will be fine.
My bigger question is - how it works tracking when there are many people in the shot. Doe sit have to be paired with device that is moun ted on, or its tracking function works on its own without any app?
You are right, what im testing is if its powerful enough to turn if what you have is a full size camera.
It will have a hard time tracking multiple person hence why you have the remote.

It is rated for 10 meters but i would say probably 7 meters is the safest bet

Tbh i think this device would have a hard time with its autotracking altho if you will use your manual remote then yes it can. Just make sure to attach this to a steady tripod

there is an alternative to Telesin, its called HOHEM GO that has tilting capabilities and I created a review on it.
