I was planning to stay Hunter, it’s been my main since Classic, however yesterday my guild offered a DK spot, so I jumped on it. Doubt I’ll regret it, really enjoyed DK in original wrath
I’m rolling hunter as my main for WotLK. Originally I was a warlock and I loved it and still do, but I ended up getting a hunter to 80 towards the very end of WotLK and remember wishing it had been my main. They are so much fun, the mobility is great, I enjoy kiting, having a pet is awesome, and BG’s on a hunter just feel right to me. Super pumped
Quick Edit / Mistake: Unholy Blight actually can't be clipped, it just adds the additional Death Coil damage to the dot already up on the target, so there's no need to ever or hold onto a death coil if you have the GCD and the Runic Power.
@@freezax4 just incorrect. DW does more damage than 2 hand until you get Shadowmourne in ICC. 2 hand is also insanely boring and just might as well play frost if you want the same boring playstyle
@@precludeneco does quite a lot less 5%-8% less dmg than 2h. If mess up on ration you can even loss more dmg than if your were to miss a rotation on 2h as well.

Going back to my roots and maining UH DK again! I was UH from OG Wrath through Legion, then went Hunter main for BfA, SL, Classic and TBCC. UH is where my heart is so I'm super pumped to go back to it. I'm actually most excited to mess around on a Demo Lock in WrathC though. Demo has always been my favorite spec and I didn't level a Lock alt back in OG Wrath so it should be blast!
I'm extremely excited for this build, and what it represents for Wrath Classic. A lot of people were saying that Wrath was the most "solved" expansion of the OG 3, but then we get stuff like DW Unholy and Spellhance making the mot of spell damage as a melee class, the crazy damage output of the Warrior Revenge Tank (meme that it may be :P), and Sarthe's very own Trap Hunter popping off on trash. I'm hype to see what Wrath players are able to churn out, and just how different it all feels once we really get things rolling.
It's funny watching you guys act like you found some secret sauce. All this was in the original game, it's not new. Also, 3.3.5 is the balance patch for Classic, most of this shit was patched to become unviable well before that.

If I hadn’t already got the super high serotonin release from playing fury warrior with double glaives and almost full BIS gear the DW unholy DK would probably be my next choice! Planning on playing a DK, I started playing when I was a Kid towards the end of TBC and start of wrath. Most of my wow memories come from wrath, I remember my first raid was ICC and we got the lich king and LIKE A MORON I released my spirit and could not loot him, and of COURSE INVINCIBLE DROPS..... Missed out on the title and the mount. If I were to get the boost how ever I would use to make a boomie to help fill spots in my guild, also to farm herbs. Having a rogue main is a difficult situation for making gold, so the boomie would help lmao. I was also military and didn't have allot of time to play tbc, so I never found out a way to make gold soooooo yup lmao.
Been playing mage since classic and super excited to continue and play fire mage as soon as I have enough gear to make it viable! insta pyros are what make fire mage so fun to me :D

DK Havent been playing classic at all, coming back for wotlk, due to the fact that DKs. Been maining DK ever since wrath all up until Shadowlands. I loved everything about wrath and im stoked thats its coming so very soon!
I started playing at the end of wrath and fell in love with the death knight, but never got to play it then. Been playing it ever since on retail and will probably main it in wotlk classic! :D
I do have to add that a 4 dps increase shouldn't perhaps be HIGHLY suggested. Out of 8k dps, 4 dps is a 0.05% increase. You will NEVER notice that, and it's 500% within the margin of error of any sim. So don't make changes bc of 4 dps in WOTLK. Same with gear. Never PLEASE roll on a gear that's an upgrade for someone if it's increasing your dps by 5 in a sim, even if it's your "bis". Let's say you get that bis upgrade for 10 slots and all of them are 3 to 8 dps increases. Nice, you upgraded from really good items to your absolute best bis. Now your DPS has increased by 0.625%. Not even 1% increase from getting bis upgrades to TEN SLOTS in comparison to the "other viable" options on many lists. Point is: any viable option on any list is equal in almost any sim, and you should give upgrades to those who gain significant dps gains, not 0.05%. That won't even help you in a parse, plus you might have cucked yourself either way bc of the margin of error of any sim.
I haven’t 100% decided. Either going Frost DK or Ret Paladin. The first time around I played DK so maybe something different this time. Anyway, love the content! GG

Plaguestrike first for a chance to proc trinkets etc, then meaty icy touch. Also, not sure if it works on classic but I think we used to get lust, pop gargoyle have another shaman pop second lust. Gargoyle would be snapshotted with the first lust while also getting lust on itself.

30-35 dps higher on 8k+ average damage at least sounds so negligible, it shouldn't matter at all when deciding between slow/fast offhand
