♥ It is on the Great Hiking route, the GR 65, and also on the path between Puy-en-Velay and Santiago de Compostela, more exactly between Cahors and Saint Antoine, in the direction of Moissac, that Auvillar is located , where its small port is on the Garonne.
Today, Auvillar is a stage for tourists and pilgrims on the way to Compostela.
It was a place for earthenware and the manufacture of quill pens for calligraphy.
Through the village, discover a curiosity of Auvillar, the production and exhibition of the "little pilgrims" of Auvillar.
It is an achievement of a great hiker, Jean-Yves Pavard, who invites you to discover this charming village.
