We are back with another Holiday classic and this time we have the Iconic Chevy Chase in NATIONAL LAMPOON CHRISTMAS VACATION, from 1989. As the holidays approach, Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) wants to have a perfect family Christmas, so he pesters his wife, Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo), and children, as he tries to make sure everything is in line, including the tree and house decorations. However, things go awry quickly. His hick cousin, Eddie (Randy Quaid), and his family show up unplanned and start living in their camper on the Griswold property. Even worse, Clark's employers renege on the holiday bonus he needs. Absolutely hilarious Chevy Chase didn’t disappoint and his family around Christmas is crazier than ever

Aunt Bethany is actually played by an actress that is known for two really classic characters. Her name is Mae Questel, and she voiced Olive Oyl for Popeye the Sailor Man, and the voice of Betty Boop.
Questel briefly voiced Popeye. When the actor who provided Popeye's voice, Jack Mercer was drafted in WWII, as the studio was negotiating with the government to get him back.
Definitely one of my favorite out of the Vacation series next to the original. Awesome reaction you two
"Russ" was later on Roseanne and then later on The Big Bang Theory.
Not sure if anyone mentioned it yet but... Aunt Bethany was the original voice for Olive Oil from the original Popeye and she was the original voice for Betty Boop.
She was the Mom on Everybody Loves Raymond and the son is from Roseanne

😂😂😂 As if! When are they ever held responsible for damages done to real property? I'm on your side, obviously. But they're cops... they always get away with their b.s. Now, not absolutely all the time, but enough times to make the odds more likely you'll get struck by lightning or win the lottery.

Man, if y'all haven't seen the rest of the Vacation film series, you don't know what you're missing (Vacation 1983, European Vacation 1985, Vegas Vacation 1997, and sequel/reboot Vacation 2015)
This movie has been a family tradition since it was released
And we still walk out on the family property and cut down the perfect tree as well
Classic
1. When Clark delivers the present to his boss his boss, (Brian-Doyle-Murry Bill's brother) calls him greaseball. 🤣 Then still doesn't get it right until the end.
2. GOOF: The lights outside the attic window don't match the pattern with the rest of the house.
3. My favorite part is when Ellen pulls the chain on the trap door. 🤣🤣
4. Mae Questel played Aunt Bethany. She was the original Betty Boop and Olive Oyl, This was her last gig.😇
5. In the big rant scene the other actors had Chevy's lines written on placards so he
wouldn't get his lines out of order.
6. Living next door to them must be kind of like living next door to the Bundys.
7. Fun fact; Chase actually hurt his hand karate chopping the reindeer.
8. Clark's crazy, Ellen/Beverley D'Angelo is way hotter than the saleswoman.
9. He's going to need that bonus to pay for the damaged house.

If you want to see the most iconic Christmas film of all time, got to checkout It’s a Wonderful Life. Make sure the black and white version and not the colorized version. The colorized version takes out all the magic and feeling out of the film.

I don’t know if you seen this show but the kid playing Russ is in the the show The Big Bang Theory.
You should check out more movies from the 80's. The 80's were a really great decade for movies. Especially fantasy movies. Labyrinth (1986), Dark Crystal (1982), NeverEnding Story (1984), Legend (1985), Princess Bride (1987), Willow (1988), Conan the Barbarian (1982), Highlander (1986), The Secret of NIMH (1982), and The Last Unicorn (1982).
There's also a lot of great Sci-fi movies from that decade. RoboCop (1987), Ghostbusters (1984), Aliens (1986), Terminator (1984), Back to the Future (1985), Blade Runner (1982), E.T (1982), Gremlins (1984), Real Genius (1985), Short Circuit (1986), Batteries Not Included (1987), Spaceballs (1987), and of course the original Star Wars movies came out in the 80's.
