As someone who builds milspec wiring harnesses with autosports and raychem, even with a concentric twisted loom sealed and booted, I would never follow the original S chassis loom layouts. Even things like punctures can destroy your harness when routed like that, I advise everyone who’s going stand-alone to make a custom loom for S chassis
Do you provide certificates for all your looms? milspec should never be used in automotive scene... Please if you make harness' for cars don't use the term milspec

I run an aluminum skid plate in the wheel well. just screw it or rivet it into the fender rather than bashing the metal. Haven't had an issue in 12 years
