I was also a leave-the-bag-in-the-car mom. With 5 children, all 2 years apart, I had a diaper bag for many years! I still remember the day when my youngest was about 5 and I realized that I no longer needed to be toting one around. It had been in the back of my van for so long that it was like a permanent fixture! My baby is now 11 and I do still keep baby wipes in my car. They come in handy so often!
I know you're an amazing mom!! All your years of being organized and being prepared has served you well as a mother. Love your videos and I've enjoyed watching your videos since the beginning and have watched you blossom and grow. It's just so awesome to follow your life journey.
I don't have any kids but I tend to watch all your videos just because I enjoy your organizations and the absolute glow you have talking about Charlotte. She is so gorgeous.
One of the things I love most about your videos is the fact that you list and link everything you talk about. We are never left wondering where we might find something you've recommended. I'm about to have my first grandchild and have been watching your baby videos for recommendations on all the new brands and products that are available. Thank you 😊
I miss your old videos :( I mean CC is so cute and I get that you want to share everything about motherhood but I loved your organizing / decluttering videos etc. I understand that you don't really have time for it, but I miss them :( Still, I watch all your "baby videos" and give them a thumbs up because I've been following you for such a long time :)
same here!!! her old videos were my favorite to watch. but I do understand and time goes by so fast soon enough her little girl will be 4 and in preschool.
Aww! I think she's lovely :) My baby is just under a month older than CC and I'm in awe of everything Jen manages to accomplish. It's really hard to do the things you used to 'pre baby', especially with such a young infant.
My daughter is now 5, and was colic for the first 7 months of her life. I tried over 12 pacifiers as well as over 12 bottles (after breast feeding failed) so you are not crazy! Anything to keep sane and happy for both you and baby!!
I am a camp 'leave the diaper bag at home' mom. I just carry a few diapers wipes and an extra onsie in my purse most of the time. I do keep a car organizer with emergency supplies like extra diapers paper towels and emergency water.
I'm a "leave it in the car" mom too lol. I have a wet dry bag with 2 cloth diapers (I have 2 kids) and wipes that I take with me. my son actually never took a pacifier until he turned 6 months old. he's 1 now and uses the pacifier to calm himself then drops it and runs off to play.
Always good to see videos from you and so happy for you and the way your channel shows how your life has evolved into something you so dearly love and enjoy.
My youngest is 2 so I don't keep quite as much with me as I used to, but I did pack with the thought in mind that I wanted to have anything with me that I might need, and on so many occasions I was glad that I did that. I also regretted not being as prepared as usual on a couple of occasions too! I enjoyed watching simply because I enjoy you, and I want to encourage you in your mommyhood journey. You're doing great!!!
Jen I use the jujube be quick and in it I carry a change of clothes for baby, 2-3 diapers, wipes, disposable changing pad, hand sanitizer. And the pouch zips up. It is so convenient to take with me and leave the bag in the car for quick outings.
So thrilled to see this video. I hated my old diaper bag. I had to take it everywhere with me because I don't drive. So happy there are better options now. Loved the ideas for organizing it too. TFS
Yay you're back!!!! I've missed you! Thanks for sharing this. I feel you've guided me in my pregnancy and now with my 3 month old!! You're awesome and loved!!!
I used to love Carters baby clothes! By boys are 10 and 11 & a half now but I kept a few clothing items from when they were babies from that brand, just because they wore them so much and it reminded me of when they were babies. 😊
I'm loving the video. How can Charlotte not like books with you as a Mum! I'm loving all the kit. I don't have kids and too old to have them, BUT you've given me lots of ideas for a puppy bag.
And for the record, I LOVE your baby videos! Your LO is a few months older, so I feel like you are giving me a preview of what's to come. Keep rocking it!
You're awesome. I love that you guys use biodegradable diapers etc. That's my plan for when I have a baby. Hopefully its not too much more expensive than 'normal' diapers.
i have a diaper bag for a quick trip like 2 hours (skip hop), then i have a day trip bag Land's End XL canvas bag. Then i have a diaper bag that stays in the trunk with a few diapers, wipes and a change of clothes for each kid. After 3 kids i finally figured out the diaper bag situation that works!
FYI. My almost five month old wouldn't take any pacis until about a month ago. And his favorite paci now is one he absolutely despised as a newborn, so never give up! (And I've got about 12 rejects waiting for the next one, too. Lol.)
My diaper changing days have been over for close to 20 years so I'm just here to see your cute face. :) You seem happy and settled, Jen, good for you. I hope you'll do a June favorites video for those of us not raising babies! I so miss your hauls. Keep baby girl and family off the camera if it makes you uncomfortable, but bring back those shopping hauls. Yours have been legendary, I can't tell you the amount of money you've had me spend over the years lol. On quality products though - you have a good eye and I really miss those hauls. Glad you are well Mama, happy 4th of July to you and yours.
Oh good...Glad I'm not the only "retired diaper Mama" that is a fan. My youngest is 40😨 but I have been very involved with the grand babies so still have small children around a lot. I love Jen's posts...have watched her for several years. She taught me how to use my cookie press. Sure do miss all those holiday, family, decorating etc...posts but certainly understand how her priorities must change. I've parted with my fair share of $$$'s too lol on some of Jen's recommendations. She is a great gal. She has a great husband too...adorable baby and cute as a button little Winnie.
Me too Terri...Love her....thanks for your response. Whew....girl....you have your work cut out...5 kiddos! But I'm sure they are a joy (at least most of the time ☺☺☺☺☺) Happy 4th
Fantastic video! My LO is 5 months old, and I love my Skip Hop all-in-one changing pad! It's very, very easy to fold up with just one hand (because I'm always holding my son and only have one hand free) and it has a loop with a clasp that hooks easily on my stroller hooks (also a must have for me!) I'm so glad to see you're doing great!!! It's fun to see your updates since we are just a month behind you. Also wanted to mention I have the triangle bandana bibs that are extremely absorbant and keep his shirts dry, which all bibs do not! We were going through many shirt changes before using them. (That are available in sets of 4 or 5 on Amazon.)
Horray the diaper bag tour! Thanx for sharing Jen :) With regards to the pacifier (called dummies in Australia) you might find that Charlotte might enjoy one when she begins teething or a teething rusk . (Our teething rusk came from Fisher Price) We used to put the dummy and the teething rusk into the fridge or freezer for a little bit and then when baby is unhappy from teething a cool soothe really suits their inflamed little gums.
We tried so many pacifiers we tried over 20! He took to one at 3 months and that was for 2 weeks! My first son loved his pacifier so I was determined to find one but he had another plan :) he is now 18 months
Haha this video is totally first time mom vs second time mom. I have a 3 year old and a 3 month old and most days just shove a diaper and a small pack of wipes in my cross body purse- granted I also have a basket that lives in my car with emergency things (first aid kit, non-perishable snacks, etc). I had a diaper bag that was packed full for my 1st ~10 months of life and then realized, why the heck am I carting around all of this stuff!? Now, the only time I pack a stocked "diaper bag" is when we do a full day outing.
I did know that Onesies is a trademark held by Gerber. ;) I think in the UK "onesies" refers to one piece pajamas and bodysuits are called vests. It's confusing figuring out what to call different types of baby clothes!
Love your mommy videos! Love all your video's! Oh my gosh I can relate to the paci thing. with my first we tried 10-12 different ones. she hated them all. Our second took one every so often for about 3-4 months. Hoping this baby takes one.
I don't know if someone has mentioned them yet, but try a pacifier clip. In the event she ever does need a pacifier the worst thing is when our baby throws his. Take Care!
We have been battling yeast as well. Could you please (PLEASE!) please share the ratio of grapefruit seed oil to water and any resources you found that might help? It feel like an uphill battle right now. So frustrating! Tia!!!
I loves this video. I have a 10 month old and I have felt comfortable with what I take in our diaper bag for her and my 3yr old. After watching this I want everything you have in yours haha 🤓 Charlotte is adorable by the way.
Be thankful she isn't attached to a pacifier. My daughter is two and still has to have her "binky". Especially at night. She mostly chews on it now, but I kinda wish she hadn't taken to one. Those boogie wipes will definitely come in handy. They are great for wiping runny noses, but also for cleaning up baby after eating when you're out and about.
loved your video love this backback but bought it 2 weeks ago and the sholder straps ripped the 4th day using it 😒😒 love you kisses for u and family😍👶💋
What a little sleeper you have! Both my daughters were awake for much longer by 6 months old. My youngest was pulling herself up to stand on furniture at 6 months...to keep up with her sister I'm sure! ;)
Hi! Do you think I could use skip hop forma backpack as baby's travel bag and use skip hop duo signature as real diaper bag? I am think about buying them both but I have doubts.
My daughter (now 10) took to pacifiers but just before a year old she only had them for naps and then after 15 months, she was done with them. My son on the other hand (now 6) didn't take to them at all, we only had a couple different ones but tossed them and moved on. Honestly, don't plan to use them if she doesn't cry for them. My daughter weened herself off after naps, she didn't struggle and there wasn't a fight BUT I know a lot of babies who turn into toddlers and it became a challenge to toss the pacifier. Of course, do what you want but I thought I'd share my opinion on them having one child who took to it, and one who didn't.
I dont bring my diaper bag with me inside places, either! I just dont like to have to carry extra stuff haha. Also, I need to get a new one that has a long strap. Mine slides off my shoulder and it drives me crazy. As far as stuff I carry with me, I dont keep a whole lot. I haven't found an occasion to need a lot of things. If I am not going out for long, I dont take any bottles. Normally, I just keep diapers, a few extra outfits, burp cloths and wipes and a couple toys and a hat if i know we'll be outside for long. If I know i'm going somewhere for a few hours with her, then I pack more clothes and burp cloths and of course her bottles. I'm sure as my daughter gets older I'll start adding things to my bag. Thanks for sharing!
Always love your videos 😍😍 such a pleasure to watch I could watch you all day..wait that sounds weird. Well thanks for sharing have a great Fourth of July 😍💥💥🇺🇸
I may be the minority here, but something about sticking the reusable change pad back into the bag just grosses me out. I think as the months of motherhood went on and the more gnarly public changing tables I've seen, the less I used the reusable pad. I use disposable chux and now that LO is walking, she often stands on the table for pee changes. I also mastered the art of changing her in the backseat of our small car. The pad only sees sunlight if I'm changing her in a friend's or family's home. #cleanliness 😊
+Annemarie McLaughlin Yeah, I definitely disinfect and keep it laundered regularly. I also keep it in a separate, outside slip pocket. Now that my baby is a toddler, I find public changes less necessary, but she's also able to stand up while being changed (she always HATED being laid down) so it's no longer an issue. 😉
Love your vlogs. Practical, backpack style diaper bag with useful cubes. Suggest you rotate emergency garments or she'll outgrow them, never ever worn! Love the excess, so cute to sincerely believe you'll need/use all that stuff in spite of past experiences.. 2 change pads, several type of wipes/bibs/face cloths, [doggie-like] roll of poo bags, cute lined bag for messies, zip bags for messies, variety of mommy snacks, zip bag for mommy snacks, bags of individual mommy snacks, different bars, bag of passies for a baby who doesn't like passies, two hats & booty sets, [grey/prink] giant tube of hand lotion in spite of several lotions for baby that you could use, enough toys for an infant nursery daycare and more. Enjoy
Hi Jen! My only daughter is now 18-year-old.I'm just here cause I just like listening to you while you're talking^__^ I hope that's not creepy at all. Just like what I've said before, I'm still gonna watch you whatever you wish to share here on Yt:)
Omg - where did you get that tiny green spray bottle (the one you put Grapefruit Seed Extract and distilled water in)? I love it and have never seen one like it for sale anywhere!
Really enjoyed seeing Jen.....GREAT organization and in a very lovely bag! And you look glowing and gorgeous! Thanks for sharing, always love your videos! Happy 4th of July to you, Don and Baby Charlotte and all your family too!
Have a read into oesophagus development and solid foods linked with allergies :) it's an interesting read for a mummy :) I just finished a health visitor placement within my nursing degree :) I love your videos :) I could listen to you talk about paint and I'd watch Hahahaha xxxxx
Not that you asked but if you can keep the paci away all together do it. Babies will tell us what they need and if by now she's not thumb sucking or asking for a paci, HIDE THEM FOREVER. LOL!My daughter used them until she turned 3 and then I took it away cold turkey. It was a disaster for 1 night and I cried with her from desperation she had wanting it, but after that 1 night each consecutive night got better and that was it. So if you want to avoid heart break for both you guys and CC stay away from the PACI if she doesn't want it.
I was also a leave-the-bag-in-the-car mom. With 5 children, all 2 years apart, I had a diaper bag for many years! i agree, i love these videos but miss the organisation one and the pop sugar unboxings etc.
I miss the holiday fun videos.. baking for the family... vacation..but still I watch these and love them .. just miss the old way
same here!!! her old videos were my favorite to watch. but I do understand and time goes by so fast soon enough her little girl will be 4 and in preschool.
I miss her pre baby self....I feel like now she's like a mombie...she had more life! she's so robotic and like spacey now!
Aww! I think she's lovely :) My baby is just under a month older than CC and I'm in awe of everything Jen manages to accomplish. It's really hard to do the things you used to 'pre baby', especially with such a young infant.
Hope you consider an updated travel/packing video. Would be interested to see how that has changed.
I organize the same way with my "mom bag", the daycare I used really appreciated it. I'm also really loving the backpack style bags!
My daughter is now 5, and was colic for the first 7 months of her life. I tried over 12 pacifiers as well as over 12 bottles (after breast feeding failed) so you are not crazy! Anything to keep sane and happy for both you and baby!!

Happy to see a video from you this morning. You are one prepared momma! 😀 keep them coming. Your videos make my day.
"It came with pack it cubes!" was my favourite part of the video! haha
I have the exact bag/color. It also comes in grey with lime green inside & peacock with grey inside 😍

you are such a well prepared good moma!! I cant wait until im a mommy and be so organized and prepared like you!! love you Jenn!!
We also use Honest Company diapers and have only had 2 blowouts. They are really well made.
Agreed. You wind up with a mess when you buy pretty much any other brand. Although, we primarily do cloth (never had a blow out with those either).
You should really try ju ju be diaper bags!!! They are awesome!
You're awesome. I love that you guys use biodegradable diapers etc. That's my plan for when I have a baby. Hopefully its not too much more expensive than 'normal' diapers.

Jen, try the jujubee bagpacks..super wonderful.
I love my JuJu Be Be Right Back backpack diaper bag!
+Kelsi Barton omg I was just going to post that love my bff and my brb😊
so nice to see your vlogs. I miss see more ofteen. you are a positive and beautiful person.. please don't stop. hugs from a long time fan xx
Jen, you should do an updated traveling packing video =)
FYI. My almost five month old wouldn't take any pacis until about a month ago. And his favorite paci now is one he absolutely despised as a newborn, so never give up! (And I've got about 12 rejects waiting for the next one, too. Lol.)

Me too Terri...Love her....thanks for your response. Whew....girl....you have your work cut out...5 kiddos! But I'm sure they are a joy (at least most of the time ☺☺☺☺☺) Happy 4th

Love you videos and inspiration.
Craving spinach squares, making them now. Miss seeing your recipes. Please post more!!!
Hey Jen, I think they make biodegradable poopy bags too!
We swear by boogie wipes. I even use them, they are awesome. I buy the unscented kind though because I find that other kind burns when I use them.
The saline really helps when they're sick or have allergies
Updated car organization video! So happy for u Jen!
We tried so many pacifiers we tried over 20! He took to one at 3 months and that was for 2 weeks! My first son loved his pacifier so I was determined to find one but he had another plan :) he is now 18 months
Can you do a packing series for the beach if you end up with the time to do that? Thanks!
I love your Videos :)
Could you do a Update of your Closet? I wonder what you did with the empty space you had after that purge you did last year?
I did know that Onesies is a trademark held by Gerber. ;) I think in the UK "onesies" refers to one piece pajamas and bodysuits are called vests. It's confusing figuring out what to call different types of baby clothes!
Love your mommy videos!! What a neat bag. I have a jujube and love it!
Love your mommy videos! Love all your video's!
Oh my gosh I can relate to the paci thing. with my first we tried 10-12 different ones. she hated them all. Our second took one every so often for about 3-4 months. Hoping this baby takes one.
Great video! Thank you for sharing. My favourite thing in my diaper bag ismy Elari diaper clutch. It's pretty great i highly recommend it
Wonderful video! I miss Winnie's channel! Do you think you can start it up again?
Love your videos and so happy to see a new one.
Thank You for sharing!!I'm getting TONS of ideas!! Can't wait for my little girl to arrive!
Good luck.
Love those indestructible books as a K teacher!!
Jen- Could you please share where the initial necklace you wear us from? I love it
Even though this video isn't applicable to me I loved it !! You're so organised 💖
In England we call the ones. vest and ones are the all in ones with the feet
Tia!!!
Jujube be right back is awesome! You should definitely check them out!
I loves this video. I have a 10 month old and I have felt comfortable with what I take in our diaper bag for her and my 3yr old. After watching this I want everything you have in yours haha 🤓
Charlotte is adorable by the way.
Miss you so much but I understand that you are super busy love your videos they are so informative
can you make a video about your diy lotions and potions
Look into jujube diaper bags they are amazing diaper bags. They have many cute prints
Be thankful she isn't attached to a pacifier. My daughter is two and still has to have her "binky". Especially at night. She mostly chews on it now, but I kinda wish she hadn't taken to one.

When choosing your diaper bag did you look at the Ju Ju Be Be Right Back?
If you did what where your thoughts?
hi jen! i miss your vlogs, i hope you start posting soon!!! ❤️

Try Covered Goods nursing covers!!! They are amazing!

would you share your recipe for the diaper cream and spray??
Missed your videos! This was amazing thank you so much for all your hard work :) you're an amazing mother x
Hello. Do you still like the bag ?

Enjoy
Gerber is the short g sound, like "Grr" not like the "j" sound. Great video Jen, thank you for sharing.
