This took me to another place, seeing it at The Albert Hall Lindon 23 October 2024. Perfect pace. A touch faster than the original but retaining all the intricacy. I was in a dreamlike state.
@@apolloniusbeitsman5444This transported me at the Albert Hall on 23 October. Especially coming after a superb complete Dancing with the Moonlit Knight. It went down with the audience better than the Lamb set.
Saw them 13 September and 7 October 2022. Where were you? I was at Aylesbury and Leicester. The latter was 50 years and one day after the release of Foxtrot. The 5th October was at Bath. I wonder if they spent time with Peter Gabriel on the 6th, which was a day off.
Great rendition, Steve! You, Anthony and your namesake from Yes where the reasons I started playing guitar in 1977. Tomorrow eve we'll have a concert, I will play a small medley of the blood on the rooftops intro and horizons, a small thank you for your music accompanying me for decades now. Keep up keeping alive the music of Genesis!
Listen to the album version then this and you will see how close the drummer gets to replicating Phil Collin's complex drumming. Steve Hackett is perfection as always.
Steve mentioned it's the (50th) birthday of Voyage of the Acolyte next year. A goid pairing would be with A Trick of the Tail or Steve's first album with Genesis, Nursery Cryme.
Stunningly good rendition. Virtuosos all of them. But,I It still takes a bit of getting used to hearing one of Tony Banks’ best keyboard lines played on a clarinet.
I wish he would come back to Vancouver
This song never gets old... Nad's vocal, duel guitars and Rob's added musicianship. Classic prog rock masterpiece.
May have to go to Florida for a Spring Break to see Steve.
This is almost exactly the angle view I had at the Albert Hall 23 October 2024 for the Lamb show.
Outstanding drumming
Craig is a phenomenal drummer and a standup guy.
Steve is a treasure. I'm so glad he's still out there.
Steve has assembled a great group of musicians, I don't see a weak link. They really do this song justice.
Oh they are. I entered a heaven like state during this gig.

Saw Steve in October '22. Greatest band in the world. No argument!

It's great to see Steve out there playing the songs we love and grew up with
Saw Steve in Kansas City this spring. Great show once again.
een Steve and the band at Fairport covention Cropready festival in August 22 they were Brilliant, best performance all weekend in my opinion.
Great show Steve and band!!! The drummer is fantastic. Congratulations to all!
What a beautiful song that will be remembered...
ik was daar, fenomenaal optreden en fantastische sound !
UNBELIEVABLE every show everyday every new year gets better and better!!!
And that is almost the whole of the magic of it.

I ❤ these guys, great musicians and surely nice blokes!

Great Steve and Band, excellent video thanks

7:45 It's ROB on bass pedal A!😂👍👍👍👍👍
Truly outstanding! ✨
So good!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Tremendous! Thanks 🙏 ❤🎉
LOVE!! It's magical.
Ik vind die goser op de keyboard geweldig 👍
Hoe hij de melodie lijn speelt van Tony Banks ( great componist 💪
Great recording!!! 😊👌
I'm just hoping Steve is going to tour australia again, this is just brilliant!
More next to the real "gênesis" than this is impossible!!! Thnak you Trudi!
Oh - you should check out the band „The Musical Box“! They are playing the original shows with costumes, original slides etc.!
Bedankt, Trudi! 🙏
Excelent video. Thank you😊
Can't wait for York in October going with my daughter, pay back for years of hearing Pantera when she was young 🙂
I'll be there too, with friend I met at my first day in school, 58 yrs ago.
@@silentrabbit247 Guess we're all in for a good night 🙂
If you’ve never seen Steve live he does the old Genesis work very well and true to form. He also has an outstanding solo catalog.
No weak links here. Great Band. Great music
Very tuneful tom toms!
Steve's band is phenomenal but his version is like the studio recording which is fine. Listen to 76-77 live version. So powerful!
The best song in SEBTP a symphony
Stunningly good rendition. Virtuosos all of them. But,I It still takes a bit of getting used to hearing one of Tony Banks’ best keyboard lines played on a clarinet.
Soprano sax, I think.
@@morbidmanmusic It was an idea by Steve himself. Indeed it will take some time to get used to it!
@@morbidmanmusic Absolutely right. Sloppy mistake.
Looking forward to the Royal Albert Hall show
Steve playing Mike Rutherford’s parts.
Ps. I'm excited to see Steve Hackett in the SF Bay Area in '25
Roger King does a great keyboard work. I don't like when original keyboard parts are played by flute or wind instruments.
The singer sounds shot on the higher notes.
That singer has a perfect resonance to sound like Peter and Phil. Really amazing if you don't look. rarely does it fall out of the reality.
Sorry j ai oublier Maitre Steve .!!!
Now that is some real Genesis! Fantastic job without Peter Gabriel!❤
Nad’s voice at the beginning for the first few verses is struggling here….. Otherwise flawless…
Craig Blundell is excellent here. Still prefer Gary O’Toole though. Still don’t understand why he left…..
Something is missing here. Something is too much. It's great anyway,
Chester's and Phil's finesse, power and feel is missing. At least for me.
Great band but omg the vocals are horrendous
How are they horrendous? Nad sounded amazing live
