  • As the 2023 models begin to roll in, KTM was first on the list and made it special at that. KTM hosted their 2023 model lineup introduction at RedBud MX where we had the chance to test ride the 2023 KTM 450 SX-F. We enlisted Jacob Hayes to put in some seat time aboard the latest update to the orange machine. Make sure to click play as we break in the latest model in the rolling hills of RedBud MX.

I like a test from somebody that understands how the bike works and can communicate that to us from his riding style and perspectives! More of this please.

A national caliber rider, that can explain things pretty well, and a joy to watch him ride.....but most guys buying this bike are mere mortals ! 🤪😁

Hayes is a phenomenal rider, great job getting some adept and current test riders this go around.

And the suspension is still trash. Change the adjusters? What a great upgrade- game changer LOL. Otherwise same bike as last year. B class rider friend- upgrades his forks to springs- “ wow , I forgot what good suspension was”. KTM pays for all this - what do you expect for reviews? I would appreciate more honesty in reviews before we spend our hard earned dollars. I don’t know any Austrian bike owners who are happy with their suspension- who then dump a couple grand into a bike they payed good money for. My daughter who races and last summer bought a 22’ fc250 “I want to sell it, I would rather ride my yz250f”, it is a 19’ and she does not on top of payments want to dump a couple grand into a bike. She believed these professional reviewers when they said the WP suspension great now- until you hop on a yz. It’s the best ever- for WP- still smells but not as bad. What has really changed?

This guy is an Arenacross champion and has raced plenty of big races. He knows what’s going on

All of the KTMs would look good with Renthal Retro bars and sprockets!

I thought he was going to say the handles in the seat are great for Superman seat grabs. Which would make perfect sense.

On a total flat track like you don't need suspension, this has nothing to do with mx.
The main reason US riders have no chance against real mx riders (Euro)

Why does Husky run a lowered bike - just for marketing?
