That answered my question on the other video. 24.715 - 30.105 MHz. Computer programmable. Similar to the Radioddity QT80 software. They’re pretty much all Anytone radios rebranded. Very informative. Thanks for the review videos. 73’
Great review and look around the radio. They take some getting used to because they operate very differently to most radios, however I have used mine on 12m and 10m a fair bit with great results, and on 10m FM repeaters too. It's quirky but it's FUN, and that's what it's all about. 73
Thanks for a great review! I was considering one of these for 10-meter purposes, but to add an extra band makes it more appealing. I did the World QSO contest this weekend with a Xeigu G90 and an end fed antenna. At 20 watts I filled my logbook and had no problem breaking through pile-ups. However, there were times when I wish I had more power. I'm semi retired so I can't spend a lot of money on my gear. This may be a good 10-meter solution. Hey, thanks for your work and effort making videos for us...73...Hugh...KN6KNB
That's interesting how to bounce around the frequencies using this radio. It's tougher than a single VFO nob, but with some practice I'm sure it's fine to work with. I guess it is a good price for what you get.
Them a ok radio. A little tricky to program. I have the Anytone 5555 N II ( QT 60) quite different and more features. does 60 watt SSB. 50 watt AM/FM . You can program 27.555 RX only ! LOL . Been some 10 meter radio put on market lately ! The 10/11/12 meter bands wide open for DX in NY past few days . That the same program cable on most of them 10 meter radios. You can tune in 25.000 MHZ AM and set your clock to WWV. The past several years they turned back on 25 MHZ . In NY Fall threw Spring it comes in strong. A great way to see if 12 meters is open . 73
If you want to play with CB this is a great radio to do it with. Other than that it's not really all that compelling of a radio. Now if they started a push into actual HAM radios they might be a lot more compelling. Problem is that reputation for being radios for CBers is going to stick with them for a while. But that can probably be overcome eventually. But they're not really interested in that.
Seems like a really clunky interface and the software that doesn't let you copy and paste is even worse. But it seems to have a bright and easy to read screen. So that's good.
I am triggered by people who don't like cat videos . . . Cat Videos good. Ape videos good. Squatch videos excellent. Ain't nobody trying to sell you a squatch or Ape would have a herd of them. But seriously, this radio is so Ape and Jeem can practice their CW on the Freedom band and not have to worry about call signs. 🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🐵🐵🐵🐵🤣😎

Not a big fan of that interface but to each his own. Still looks like a nice radio. 73

I agree but where it would be handy was if you worked a few different 10m repeaters.
Gotta love software that's stuck in the 90's 😃

I tell ya, quite a few have come out lately and I’m expecting they are gonna keep coming out…
Looks like a fun radio. Hop around the high bands and then off to 11 meters.
I like the orange screen….
Will you do another and go over all those fancy buttons. Also can it read SWR?
Thanks
I'll do something. Thanks Tom.
Interesting Radio
Yeah, these 10m radios seem to be quite popular these days

Fair point.
I run linux, haiku OS and freebsd i wonder of retivis supports those operating systems.
I don’t they they do
Barely anyone does.
So this does 11 meters too?
I didn’t test 11 but it seems to be 10 through 12.
If u do test it let me know, please...I'm interested in this radio
That's hamsexy, son
Ain’t it!?
You keep mentioning these cat videos, so how about linking some? 😉👍
I could have swore I posted links in the description 🤔
The screen on these makes a constant high-pitch noise. :(
Really? Is that like a known issue?
🤘

The software was a little bit of a pain but it’s not like you will program it everyday
1Band, 2Band… Red Fish, Blue Fish…
