Thanks for playing, we're glad you enjoyed our mod. One main goal is to show that Metal Sonic is more evil than Eggman, thats why the mod is more difficult. The thing with starting with one life after game over is a glitch, same goes for Wing Fortress, where you fell into Knuckles' route. (Also the first showcase that shows the hidden Bubble shild in Sandopolis, finally ;) ).
An update will follow the next days, we need to make the mod compatible with the new update, and make encore mode possible for the demo stages.
Metal Shadow Productions Only thing is, you guys should eventually remove the CD sounds and music and find more fitting ones. They seem out of place(holder).
You do realise this mod's main enemy is Metal Sonic, from you know CD.
Balibali 418 Yes, but it has a different feeling than CD and a MUCH different pace.
@Alex McCulloch you can just go into the SFX folder for the mod and delete the CD sounds you don't like

Knuckles Channel 3 & Knuckles oh and u had a glitch in Wing Fortress Act 2 where u fell into Knuckles Route of the level, we're trying to fix that

The boss you fought in Sandopolis was a unused mini-boss for the demonstration version the dev team showed to SEGA.

Wing Fortress Act 2 uses a beta version of the music, and I love the heck out of this mod.
I notice a lot of the beta music of Sonic 2 tends to be better. I mean I like the final Wing Fortress better, but the beta makes a good Act 2.

If you played the original Sonic 1, there is no 7th emerald. If you played the remake, there is, but it's through the no save mode.
