I recommend researching Lonsdaleite. It is borderline impossible to form a crystal of size that would be any useful. Also it's hardness isn't really tested properly becouse of lack of good samples so we can't really confirm it's properties.
I feel like this is the case for most new elements or materials discovered. "Hey look we discovered element 120 and we're calling it whocaresonite" "Cool, what can it be used for?" "Nothing, because we only made 3 atoms which decayed into lead after 0.03 picoseconds" "Neat."
I just wish it was easier to get them places in general. Maybe the ability to link up minecarts with chain so we didn't have to make so many trips with the railway system.

That "ink sac" was a bug at one point. A lot of dyes had wrong names in bedrock edition.
Just White, Black, Blue, and Brown. The new dyes used the names of the respective legacy dyes.
Bone meal and lapis were the others, I think.
