I'm a huge Assassin's Creed fan and we've been talking about Assassin's Creed Shadows (formerly Assassin's Creed Codename Red) for a long time. Assassin's Creed Shadows will release in November 15 2024 (I know I say 14 in the video, reading is obviously hard for me). I'm excited we'll get to play as a kunoichi. I'm interested in what kind of ninja weapons will be introduced. It would be cool to see the kyoketsu shoge. I've only played the first 3 Assassin's Creed games. While I enjoyed them, the gameplay was very similar to one another so the series burnt me out. My hope is that Shadows plays differently enough because I love that it setting is in Japan.

Yes the Portuguese and Spanish used that red Cross because of their catholic faith and the templars when they were disbanded in 1313, they left to Spain and Portugal

I think society is finally ready for us to have a game that takes place in Africa and we are the white hero and our sidekick is Shaka Zulu.
Exodus: Gods and Kings already has you covered, white actors playing middle-eastern religious historical figures in Egypt (Africa). Go watch that lil bro.
If there was any white historical white figures that grew up poor in African culture then why not. That honestly would be more interesting than this game, seeing as how white people DEFINITELY wouldn’t let that happen to a fellow white person. It’s not hard to imagine a black man being treated like shit anywhere though.

Ghosts was great but to be fair it felt alot like an assassins creed game. While others might complain about that I'm not one of them. I loved ghosts and I'm sure I will like this.

I just want to apologize for every cringe and ridiculous comment your gonna get. I’ve been of this franchise for like my whole life, for 12 years, and one thing I will always never understand is the toxic nature of the fanbase, so I just want to apologize on the behalf of all those too stubborn to do so.
I’m excited, I want hope the game play plays different then the past 4 games, and I’m just happy to have this setting finally! Hope it looks fun when the gameplay releases and I hope that you have fun with your play through I’ll be there to watch!

No thanks to this game. It's propaganda when it comes to history. They did the same with the Viking and Athenian setting.
I will not support these kinds of games which attempt to wash history of my people.
People can play this "just as a game", but for those that care about history, no thanks.

There are so many Japanese badasses they couldve chosen for a main character...every single other AC game has had an ethnically accurate character based on the setting...
😂😂that never going happen with this game. After assassin's creed syndicate everything went out the window. Plus what does it matter they been doing this for years now with characters that doesn't match the culture or historical content. Beside most of the game is made up with some mix history in it. Should not rely on a game for real history facts. It's Should played for fun nothing else. As long the game is enjoyable and have a good make up story I don't care what the character look like.

@adrian_shepherd4003 how so? The faces look nothing alike. Dreads are very much an African/Caribbean cultural thing going back as far as recorded history. No overly long beard or tattoos. Physically significantly taller and more muscular than everyone around (also, historically accurate if that is the character that I believe it to be). What part of any of that looks like Eivor? And again, I'll stress I'm pretty sure that is a real life person who existed during that time period, pretty much assured based on him being depicted as a samurai of renown.
There is an always online requirement to play it from what I heard. Other than that, cool and refreshing to see someone actually appreciating the game for what it is and not going into some lame race/historical accuracy debates and outrage discussions like other channels have.
