I hate to say this man but you appear to be the last person on TH-cam to the party. This entire trade deal has been discussed for like 3 or 4 weeks now with the exact same players you're discussing.
I agree, I think trading EP40 would be a mistake. I also think trading Miller would be a mistake, at least at this point in time, but perhaps exploring it in the off-season when not under pressure. I think trading Boeser before the deadline is the move to make.
I think if you can trade pettersson for cozens byram and a protected 1st round pick with a B prospect then the canucks should take it and run. Buffalo is very high on petey and have a boat load of prospects already. Some may say thats an overpay but it isnt if you take in account byrams injury history and the fact hes an RFA cozens doesnt have the potential to be a 100 point player in this league he is a 2C and your taking a risk with having him continue is poor play. Petey is a proven high point producer that needs a change. He ll get back to his normal self with a change of scenery for sure especially in the east. Then you just keep miller and hope everyone in the locker roo. can put this crap behind them
@@goenzoy712 Petey when he's playing above PPG is definitely worth his current contract. Unfortunately, you NEED him to be playing at PPG to justify that contract, and he isn't doing it with the JT situation. As for Horvat, I see that situation as JT having forced a move then too(the drama was with Bo instead of Petey, and management kept JT, who they projected as the better player(at the time he was playing about the same level or just slightly above Bo). Management's done a decent job assessing their roster, and I think they stil see Petey as the much higher ceiling player over JT(IMO, JT's recent peaks are his peaks, whereas we've yet to see Petey at his peak).

I agree. Van has to make the trade if that's the value proposition.
Tage t, owen p for miller , Myers 😅
Tage T for EP 👍🏻
This absolutely could work. He has no trade protection.
@ would b nice 👍🏻
You could do Tage Thompson with Bowen Byron for Elias and Hoglander plus a 2nd
Peterson is a ghost he's a waste of money
Elias pettersson and carson soucy for Owen power and dylan cozens. And trade each others 1st picks this year
He doesn’t have a clause
Nucks fucked up...should of traded Petey at his peak and kept Horvat. Miller and Horvat r proven playoff performers.
Fair enough. I still think they should keep him if it can be managed.
Petey has not reached his peak yet.
He is just overpaid

Horvat was one of J.T. Miller’s targets. Along with Luke Schenn . Those are guys J.T. was always fighting with.
Sabers aren't bad on offense they're poor on defense trading for Elias Patterson is not going to make the Sabers any better.
It's true that I wouldn't say they're bad on offense, they score 3 goals per game on average, I still think they need to work on upgrading it.
@@Pixelplushockey what's the priority though people are talking about giving up Byram how does that make sense.
no one wants miller for what vancouver is asking...32 5 yrs left at 8 mill...case closed...
That's a fair point he is signed past his prime for sure.
