Girl, I struggle with making friends as an adult too. I had to let go of my old ones because we were going in different directions and genuinely outgrew the friendship. Don't force friendships because you will end up comprising yourself in some way; you want friends who love and care about you! That make time for you! You need to put yourself out there the same you would when dating! You gotta go through a few to find the right one! Don't give up❤ Connect with mommy groups that have kids around baby girl's age (I dunno how you spell her name 😭). Your body has been through a lot in a short amount of time and that means your hormones have been all over the place; that could be one reason you don't feel like yourself but I can relate! Being a mom, sometimes you truly lose yourself and your identity, but you will find yourself! You got this girl 👊 also, I MISS you making music! ❤

I have bpd and had my mental health plummet severely this year - completely felt like I lost myself too. Stopped going out with my friends and doing things I used to love b/c everytime I tried I'd just end up in a depressive episode. It's been really hard to gain that part of me back, especially when people move on so quickly and I feel like I'm ten leagues back. You're not alone in that feeling, it's so hard.
Honestly a lot of friendships dissolve when you have kids and get married, etc and it sucks but you’ll find friends that share your new interests and are in the same phase of life as you!

Same girl, I had a baby 2yrs ago and still trying to find myself after it. Like I’m not just a mom, I’m so much more. I understand you. But don’t give up music even if you’d like to do it for fun.
My goal is to prioritize the important things in life like my lil family and school. Im 33 weeks pregnant and going to school. I realized that for the sake of my mental health ill have to cut off people who just drain me and are better loved from a distance. Congrats on the pregnancy !!!
Definitely always invest in yourself. Music can be therapeutic if you feel like it’s something you want to get back into than do it. I also feel like especially now after COVID more and more you can find ways to record remotely and still work with whoever you want. Maybe look into sound proofing a location within your home (even if it’s a closet) and build yourself a studio that you don’t even have to leave home to use. Got an idea at 3am? Record it. Need a mental break while the kids are napping? Lay down a track. Or just have a quiet place to have a snack while the kids overrun the house lol.

aotd : my goal is to just start doing yoga again. it's one of those situations like ... you know it makes you feel good in the moment AND long term, like it heals my soul, but i never get on the mat and my body is just weak asf now, i lost my shape completely which is also messing with my mental state but i still won't get on the mat. so basically im out of shape and emotionally constipated. my motivation is that i have a course in which every week you're weighed and measure a whole bunch of parameters on your body, but someone else is measuring you (uncomfy asf) and that's my first motivation. like idk these people that well to be comfortable with their hands all around me ..... girl i do not like this class
You need a self care / healing 4-7 day vacation to yourself , just you, reconnect with your inner beauty and it will reflect on the outside you have to rediscover yourself babe, you’re amazing but you gotta heal and find out what makes you feel good to the core. Definitely always invest in yourself. Music can be therapeutic if you feel like it’s something you want to get back into than do it. I also feel like especially now after COVID more and more you can find ways to record remotely and still work with whoever you want. Maybe look into sound proofing a location within your home (even if it’s a closet) and build yourself a studio that you don’t even have to leave home to use. Got an idea at 3am? Record it. Need a mental break while the kids are napping? Lay down a track. Or just have a quiet place to have a snack while the kids overrun the house lol.

I relate to the text back thing - i’m kinda at the point where I don’t have a lot of friends anymore and it’s because I realized that i’m not worth all of the mess. you AND me deserve people that will fight for us and our friendships so don’t text back, don’t keep reaching out. and to answer your question, a goal of mine was to start therapy, and focus on my mental health, so I quit my job because it was making me miserable which id scary bc I need money for things, and I started doing things i’m passionate about like youtube and entrepreneurship so it’s been challenging but super cool to see my strengths!

aotd : my goal is to just start doing yoga again. it's one of those situations like ... you know it makes you feel good in the moment AND long term, like it heals my soul, but i never get on the mat and my body is just weak asf now, i lost my shape completely which is also messing with my mental state but i still won't get on the mat. so basically im out of shape and emotionally constipated. my motivation is that i have a course in which every week you're weighed and measure a whole bunch of parameters on your body, but someone else is measuring you (uncomfy asf) and that's my first motivation. like idk these people that well to be comfortable with their hands all around me ..... girl i do not like this class
