As always plenty of useful information. Thanks for sharing
Thankyou! appreciate the comment mate
Glad you’re back! Hope you find the time to do a kitchen series on design and cabinetry and teach us the way it should be done!! 🇬🇧 🙏🏻
Another master class from the artisan. I love your new toy. Welcome back, Oliver and have a restful night 🌞
Thank you soooo much for taking the time to make these videos. I'm a DIY woodworker and I learn a lot from every one of your videos. 🥰
That cutter block is a thing of beauty! Glad to see you back 👍🏼
Thanks for the upload on the spreadsheet, sadly I live in the PC world. Can you screen shoot the equations cells and then I can built it myself. That's beautiful look cutter, look forward to seeing it in action!
Brilliant as always 👍🏻🇬🇧
Another solution for removing the dried up glue is to use a chisel with a slightly rounded edge. In other words: one that is blunt, on purpose. Works for me.
Hooray nice to see you back 👍👍👍
Nice touch with the t bar clamp, I have some that are about 25 years old and they are all tight and true with no slack in the head's unlike my newer one's (10 year's old) which suffer with the loose head's as you show.
Those block are spot on Ollie where have you sourced them from please.
The green obviously makes it cut better! Thanks for the tip on glueing up the wide boards. Often, I had a problem doing that. Looking forward to seeing your next series. Cheers. Jim
Good to see you! A weekly blog sounds a super idea. Plenty of gems in that one alone. I glued some oak planks together last week and made a right meal of it! If only I’d seen this video 🤔!
Good to see you again..
Yes please for the spread sheet
bradshawjoinery.co.uk/downloads/ Ive added a numbers one on there, might be able to open with Excel i honestly dont know, cheers mate.
@@BradshawJoinery thank you I will give it a try.
@@BradshawJoinery a quick question do you straight blades or a spiral head on your planner/ thicknesser?
I’ve got and older 410mm Felder and looking at changing for a spiral head. Worth it yes or no in your opinion?
@@stanley626 I wouldn't change from a Felder system blade block, be more advantageous to swap the machine for a spiral one. Older machines like wadkin it's worthwhile swapping a hss block for a spiral! I have Felder system 4 knife cutter, it's pretty cheap to run but would definitely buy a spiral next time
@@BradshawJoinery I too have the 4 blade system and picked up 40 odd blades for less than a £1 each so I’ve got plenty of blades to keep me going.
I think you are right I’ll just stay with what I have.
Really enjoy your channel and find it really useful.
Thanks
Nice cutter! Definitely interested in the drawer spreadsheet.
You’re going to love the new cutter block. I had a similar one that I found endless uses for on my large Martin shaper. Great to see you back, I always enjoy your videos.
Thanks Ollie, any chance you’re going to film the kitchen build ?
Not this time, I want to pursue Kitchens as a career potentially so don't want to give all my secrets away 🤣👍
Great vid and yes the spreadsheet would be incredibly helpful
Being a bit 'old school', I have some T bar clamps myself. _(and some squeeze clamps too😁)_
Haha, i use them occasionally enough to remind me that i dislike them haha
Definite yes for the spreadsheet. I would also be tempted to align the column titles with the numbers so that there is no chance of mixing up.
For your old spindle cutter - could you get someone with a metal lathe cut a recess for the top nut?
Where did you order the green block
Fantastic wood looking amazing!!
Great to see you back - really love your videos
That cutter block just makes me think of Porsche - not that I would know but sure I’ve seen one in that shade of green 😂
Good technique as always. I have some of those metal T bar clamps. I never use them because they are so heavy and unwieldy - I use the plasticky crap ones instead 😅
Hi Ollie. Great video as always. Quick question. Who did you get your cutter block from?
Hello! I would like to know where you bought the cutter block ?
💪
The cutting blocks look awesome. Just curiously what would the damage be on one of those? Bet it is real investment 💰
Was that from csptooling?
what glue are you using?
Mmmmmm...spiral
🫡👊
It doesn’t matter how much you try and hide your address i will find you !! And i will make you give me some more of your trade secrets 😮😊
