Between 1978 -1984, we visited Norfolk nearly every year. There’s 1 picture of the statue I found online. It was beside a restaurant called Fisherman’s Wharf that’s since closed. The area has naturally changed a ton since the. We stayed at a motel on Ocean Beach Avenue and I remember the beach was pretty large. Now it looks like more of a residential area and a smaller beach.
So I had a phone mount and put it as far down as possible on my windshield. I stabilized the phone by putting some napkins underneath 😂 and then copied the video from the phone. I have another account (Roadways of Delaware, since that's where I live) and I've since bought a dashcam. I have an Aukey DRA5, which cost about $50 on Amazon. I then copy the video from the dashcam's SD card to my computer.
