Pharmacognosy and Botany are the two main subject which deals with the study of plant and their related topics. Section cutting is the primary experiments for those students, they learn how to cut or prepare the section of any given plant part, and study their morphological and microscopic characters. We always try to upload useful videos for pharmacy students so that they may easily learn the practices related to various subjects.
In this video, we have tried to explain and demonstrate the process of- "How to perform the section cutting of clove" we have taken a clove which was dipped in water for overnight, or boiled at normal temperature for about 30 minutes so that that clove may become soft and then it will be easy in cutting. after dipping the clove select 2-3 good piece of clove and place it on the watch glass. Then take a new and sharp blade and cut the starting and end part of that clove. now move the blade/razor in the back and front movement. after cutting a thin section of clove dipped the part into watch glass containing plain water and then transfer that section into the watch glass containing safranin reagent and allow it to stand for about 2-3 minutes and then again transfer it to another water containing Petri dish to clean the excess of stain. now place that section on the glass slide and add 2 drops of glycerin to prevent drying of the section. now cover the slide with a cover slip and observe under the microscope.

Sir I am a student (1st year) of Msc medical pharmacology, Karnataka
And I feel this course is not for me, i find it veryy difficult and I wanted to switch to Msc Microbiology but all applications are closed now. Anyhow I don't have any choice left rather than continuing this course itself. Sometimes I want to quit and want to go home.
I can't do anything, If I get a good job in this field then my hard-work will pay off, so my question is what kind of jobs I get after completing this course(I don't want to study further) not on teaching field.
