Freaking Awesome! Exactly what I was looking for. The seals in my radiator are leaking. New OEM radiators for my vehicle were $110 pre sars-cov-2. Now they are $250. No way I'm paying that. Tomorrow, I will be removing the plastic end caps, cleaning up the mating surfaces and seals and reinstalling with some RTV sealant. The worst that can happen is it leaks again and I have to get a new radiator. Hopefully, by that time, the prices will have come back down to the $110 range.
I know Im randomly asking but does anyone know a way to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost the login password. I appreciate any tips you can give me.
Thank you good man, this end caps not original (china) , in my country you can buy every things and %99 are fake. i buy it about 8$ and the radiator if i want buy it about 45$. great man
Muy buen video! felicitaciones... yo tengo que hacer lo mismo, pero en argentina no se consigue el repuesto. usted podria indicarme donde comprarlo? desde ya muchas gracias
Hi can you please tell me what that aluminum tank is on the radiator? My wife's radiator looks just like this but the replacement we ordered is only 1 stack of fins and doesn't have the tank.
@@zana3587 I actually found out that it was on the AC compressor kit. I didn't realize that the AC had a radiator, too. The tank I'm talking about is the AC condenser.
Cracks in the plastic of the radiator (PA66+PA612) are perfectly repaired with a soldering iron (100 watts). The main thing is not to allow the plastic to boil. This is my own experience. I cut off pieces of plastic from the donor - the stiffening ribs of the fan casing, it is also made of PA66+PA612 and having melted the cracks, I melted smooth mounds of added plastic on them. Other repairmen advise making glue from pieces of polyamide and formic acid. or toluene. I don't really believe in this method.

19k views only 270 likes. this video deserves a lot more likes than that. pros the camera angles are really good all the important steps are filmed. cons (things to improve) sound - you would be better using a voice over and muting the camera sounds, in order to make the silent moments in the voice over less awkwards a background track at very low volume will do the trick image quality - not really needed, but it will make your video look top notch instead of amateur, most modern phone cameras will record with better quality than what you have here, but i really wonder how they would fit in the tight spots you managed to put this one editing - in a few of the cuts you left the image there for longer than needed. when removing bolts and sutch. you had a few that you just show stsarting the removal and finish using a disolve effect. but others you let the video go on for a lot longer than it would need to be for someone to get the idea of what was happening. all in all i love this video and really hoped it was suggested more by youtube, i had to dig a bit to find it, and came across stuff that was completely useless to help repairing a radiator before i saw this.
@@zana3587 hose pliers same here, from china, but decrimper tool is much more expensive, cheaper to buy radiator! (is £100 if i need for my toyota aygo , same price as the tool) but is a new car! i sold my 93 ford fiesta and have bought a 2015 toyota aygo 3 cylinder :)
You got a lot of patience man😎! Missing a transmission coolant hose fitting on mine and could use this type of repair to just replace the whole side but, I don't have the time or patience 😂! Good job though 👍.
