  • A bit of a different update video today...
Since most of what I've grown in has been related to my mindset this month, that's mostly what I'm going to talk about! My digestion, energy, sleep, and skin are about the same as the month before.
I have issued a #liondiet challenge for January though, and am excited to see how close to amazing I can feel by the end! I'm going to cut out coffee, eggs, dairy, pork and chicken and stick with beef, butter, water and salt!

One of the most physically attractive ladies I've ever laid eyes on. And her eyes! stunning, like they are looking into your soul. Then you realize she has some intelligence and wisdom to her words. I'm not surprised I keep seeing her subscriber count going up...

I fell off the wagon hard (like eating an entire package of Oreos in a day, among many other things)…not only did I have a sugar relapse but also a weed relapse 😑 It is what it is, I’m not going to beat myself up over it, just going to move on and do better.

(Not sure of the limit of words in TH-cam, so I'm breaking my comments in two parts.) Part 1 - Neah, kudos to you, no, double kudos to you for your authenticity, vulnerability and courage to be ‘real’ on TH-cam!!! (A++ for that!!) It has taken me years, to be authentic and ‘real’ just with people I know are ‘safe’, let alone, share the ‘real’ me on TH-cam. When I listen to someone share what they believe will benefit me (diet, nutrition, self-care, etc.) but in a way that makes it seem like they ‘have it all together’, no “weaknesses”, … I tend to not be able to relate to them because of the times I have failed in some aspects of life and am therefore, not encouraged, not motivated to “get up and give it another shot”.

Us women need to be more in touch with our menstrual cycle. We are more likely to slip up and get cravings in our luteal phase, especially week before period. That’s when our metabolism is runnigh high and we need more calories. It’s also good to reduce excercise and work during that time. Understanding this has made my life so much better.

This is exactly what I’ve been trying to improve on! A few days ago I was craving sugar and desperate to create a carnivore “friendly” hot chocolate, I HAD to run to the local health food store and spend $30 on stevia flavors (they even sold out of chocolate flavour so I bought hazelnut and butterscotch which turned out not to taste any good) and I’m like “What am I DOING?” And then I realised……. Oh….. it’s PMS that’s making me do this. I need to get more attentive to where I am in my cycle.

I never liked the "everything in moderation" phrase. Many things are not good for you in any quantity. You make the perfect point: Most people have never reset their nutrition to baseline, so how would they know what moderation is? Great insight.

t's just as bad as cheat day. There is no such thing as cheating. If you want to eat something, eat it with enjoyment and get it over with. The cheat day crap will only put more guilt and stress on yourself which leads to more 'cheating.'

It has been Carbageddon since Friday the 22nd, but I am ready to get back on BBBE for January. I was proud of myself for not letting this year be a complete relapse from 10/31 through New Year's, you know? That was huge for me, especially since my dad passed away this month. I ate the leftovers and gifts, I had some meals out and went to the movies. I did not stick to my plan and moderation is not a word that describes my behavior around snacky foods. So, it is what it is. I made the choice to indulge and suffered the consequences, as sugar and wheat really cause me lots of issues. I loved what Erin at Brewing Better Living sent me, it's not what you do between December and January, it's what you do between January and December. We can get back to being consistent.

Part 2 - But, what you shared, resonates with me, I can relate to you. So, by sharing with authenticity and not being ashamed of the moments you “slipped”, you have encouraged me and inspired me to proceed in a ‘healthy’ way with the plans I have laid out for carnivore ‘lifestyle’. Keep on being you, Neah, as you are meant to be, with continued “growth in character” as you are unique, and special!

I got on Carnivore and got rid of neck pain from a construction accident. When I cheat the neck pain comes back which gives me headaches, keeps me from getting a good nights sleep and keeps me out of the gym. So now I see this neck pain as a good thing to keep me straight. I'm hurting now because of the Holidays and cake, cookies and Pie. I allow myself to eat pretty much whatever every once in a while if I go out to a Restaurant but 9 times out of 10 I keep a carnivore lifestyle and everything is ok.OK. Tonight my girlfriend and I are going to a Seafood buffet and the food is awesome. It's my favorite restaurant and I can eat there and eat what I want without it derailing me. A little indulgence here and there keeps me on track.

I’m not on a full carnivore diet. I’m a faster with a greater focus on animal protein. Fasting has done wonders for my gut issues and my weight loss. I’ll work to move closer to carnivore but I get tired of meat real fast.

I was thinking if I should comment this or not as I don't want to open the door for temptation, as I really do know how this goes. but I also know how some struggle with emotional trauma, so... my story is that I'm essentially on taliban/viking/savage/you name it diet: mainly meat, probiotics (store bought and homemade), eggs (quail not chicken), fermented dairy but mainly goat/sheep; >alcoholcoffee

Everything in moderation is a ridiculous statement. Even Jordan Peterson says so.
