There's fast charging. Then there's super fast charging, my S20 atleast. Charges from 0 to 100 in 1h 30mins

Tl;dr Average use is about 6-10 hours (out the box depending on usage). Every android user is different but if you want consistency then the IPhone 13 line-up have great battery life and is very consistent.
It took my S22 Ultra about a month and some days to get use to my usage patterns but I'm more of a power user and kinda sporadic with my apps. With that said I get about 6-7 hours with heavy use (Using Camera, streaming, and video services), between 10-13 hours with normal use ( so not using my phone every hour). I also go from 100% to 70%-50% at work.

My s22 Ultra performs very similarly to my 12 Pro Max if not better in terms of battery. However with Samsung phones I have noticed the camera and especially video recording completely kills the battery compared to other phones. So if you are doing more casual things like TH-cam, browsing internet, social media etc, you can get 8h SOT pretty easy.
I've noticed that too as well on my regular S22

Crazy how much the battery life can vary between users. My fiancée has an S22+ and she has zero issue making it through a day. I'll sometimes see her plug in as we're sitting on the couch in the evening maybe around 8 or 9pm. But she easily makes it through a work day
She don't use it much aside for when he texting his man behind your back other than that she be using it as back ground music when she getting some d balls deep in a hotel somewhere
You're right. Mine I think only took one week of usage and now my S22U can literally last for 2 days one one charge. It only had about 42%-46% at about 19h30 until it died about around 00h00. This legit suprised me because it was just so sudden. Enjoying the experience 👌💯
My S22U had a terrible battery life until I reset all settings and wiped all cache, the battery life is great since then. Many people said that there is some problems when you transfer data from your old phone using Samsung Smart Switch app, and they recommend to do the same thing as I did.
I got 10 hours+ on the 13 pro max but Shevon's only lasted 8.5hrs. He's a heavy user indeed

I absolutely LOVE my S22 Ultra. It's the BEST phone on the market hands down. I also have the Iphone 13 pro max and I end up using my S22 ultra MUCH more. I can only use the iphone for about 2 weeks before I get bored to death of it.

The battery dip is due to the high usage of the camera. Taking photos and videos definitely drains the battery way faster than normal usage. As a samsung user myself, this is relatable.

Thanks for showing the real world usage of the phone from the Spen. To the camera Zoom . I have heard the updates help.But that depends if it helps your particular issues you have with it.Great Screen and the backlight when in the Sun . The best I have ever seen and of course the camera. 😎

Otherwise love the photography, the OS does still look great and video looks pretty cool but still needs some work. Awesome job as always Shevon keep up the great work and God bless you man. Great vid! As an avid Android user since switching from iPhone back in 2012, I will readily admit that the biggest drawback to switching has been battery life. Unfortunately, that's the nature of a product that is not vertically integrated. The OS can't be optimized for only one combination of hardware pieces. So battery life on a Samsung will likely never be as good as battery life on an iPhone.

I got iPhone 13, google pixel Xl 2016 and Samsung note 10+. Also got a Xr as a work phone and I charge it every few days that’s with being used for calls and texts for work.

Great video, from my own experience with a S21 Ultra taking lots of pictures and especially 4k videos kills your battery crazy fast. And the battery usage can also change drasticly depending on the tempreture of the phone which can heat up alot in the sun and if it's hot outside.
Samsung takes a week to give a better battery life 💯 bcs of their adaptive battery

i think the difference is because of the screen brightness ,resolution and things like always on display and depending on how good each app is optimised otherwise the result will be closer
My battery got a lot better after the new updates tbh. I wake up at 5am and go to sleep at 11pm with 28% battery. I remember barely getting to 10% when I first got the phone.
yes you are right same with my S22 ultra 12 gb .....this guy made this video little sooner he might not have specific idea about samsung S22 ultra learning according to our usage, how we use it or how long we use it after full battery charge....to be honest i easily get one and half day after full charge...

Mine is 12gb ram/512gb memory...what is your main concern?? May i know that?

As a samsung galaxy s22 ultra user i should say the battery life is not very impressive like the 13pro max for regular content watching surfing through Instagram and stuffs i can say it will last a whole day comfortable but if you take it out with cellular and a heavy camera usage it drains your battery i charge my phone to 90 percent mostly 2 times a day to make sure it's juiced up. The one area where iPhone beats the ultra is the battery other than that I'll prefer the ultra any day (note i have used 13pro max as my daily driver too ). Asusual killer content shevon.
I wonder if it has something to do with the modem? aren't Samsung devices known to have better cellular reception?
@@RamonScott777 Usually I have better phone signal with my Fold 3 than my 13 Pro Max in rural areas.
@@RamonScott777 its because of snapdragon 8 gen 1 chip. It very power hungry and samsung cannot do anything about it as compared to apple who make their chips themselves.
@@RamonScott777 signal seems to work flawless the 8gen 1 heats a bit quicker and drains the battery fast as per my usage when you use it in direct sunlight the phone tends to start heating up you won't notice with a skin on but i use it without a case . Every phone has its flaw for me in ultra it's the battery life and a bit of heating issues other than that you can't go wrong with this guy
Yes!! I have the s22 ultra right now but going back to iphone just for the battery. I cant rely on a charger all day. I LOVE the s22ultra but battery is what did it for me 😔. Maybe the s23 will have better battery, if so ill switch back to samsung.

Absolutely excellent work young man! 👏...I did find it strange when you went to your battery life graph that the day you power used it you got only 4+ hrs sot, your so(off)t was very low...4+ hrs too... even on your other days the totals never added up to only 8 hrs... my lowest has been 12 added up together, and it's usually 15-16 hrs... that's the only part that seemed a little inconsistent to me... if you got an answer for that, I'd sure like to hear it if it's something I don't know. Absolutely love the real time going through your day feel.
This was a good video regarding battery life I never make it pass 5 hours of usage so his time was spot on the total adds up
@@RC-ku3lo I don't think you read my post, or didn't understand it... wasn't questioning his sot of 4+hrs...I was questioning his screen off time just for that particular day...none of his other days had a screen off time that low... which made it inconsistent... this means he would've had to have the phone on the charger for like 8hrs...how when he power used it that day... this is what I was asking... if you get it.
Great video. If you use a compatible charger you will be able to "Super fast charge" the phone. You will see a blue/Turquoise color instead of green. It's double the charging speed of regular fast charging.

I get about 7 hours of SoT on my S22 Ultra, but it took me about a month for the battery optimization to work properly. Bit strange how you only got 4.5 hours however, but yeah I think this phone is an absolute beast. Anyways, keep up the good work, I love your content man 🙌

I've seen your Iphone 13 Pro Max Vid, when you show the battery percentage at around 22%. You're already using the low power mode (Yellow indicator on the battery icon). Which help save some battery. I did this with my S22 Ultra at 20%. it definately help to save some juice. At the end of the day, Iphone is still the king and will last longer than S22 Ultra. Anyway, Good vid man. I think a good compromise is use a iPhone as a daily main phone and a older android for all the stuff you can do on android like it’s much easier for game console emulation and file managing. I would rather it the other way but the battery life of iPhone is really good as is a few other things.

no phone can do everything 🤦♂️ I accept that, just like when I had s22ultra I accepted that my phone couldn't even last me a day. I didn't argue that it charges faster, I just accepted it and moved on to a different phone that I liked🤷♂️

@@Unknownuserhtps not really id say the exynos chip in my experience is really fast and also just works and no the s22 ultra doesn't "lag" in my experience id say the iphone takes battety life and speakers,when it comes to ease of use and design depends on preference.Samsung also has its pros like better display,camera,more costumization,more features (it just works) the phones are both really fast but the a15 chip doesnt waste as much battery in things like gaming so gaming goes to iphone too but on terms of speed and smoothness they are both super close and taking into consideration that every version of s22 has 120hz id say its clear and i have studied a lot in this particular topic (s22 vs iphone 13) most reviews if not all result in samsung being the best phone out there and wins when paired with iphone 13.Its not called best phone in the world without a reason
