Question: Do you ever use panning to separate the instruments? I find that eg. having the bass to the left and the sub bass to the right makes them collide less.
Btw. in the lmms EQ you can choose how steep the ends are (1 & 8) by clicking the 12, 24 or 48 dB buttons :)

I used to use some random screen cap software and audacity for audio but I just use obs now because it’s way easier
