- its the wolfpack again with an absolute classic from the 80s Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer. We had fun!! Suggestions are more than welcome and please keep in mind that we are talking about an 8 year old little man in regards to the music choices. I understand the obscure tips some of you give and it gives me new music to listen to but some of thisstuff is a little too much to ask right now ;)

OMG...this was the most adorable video I've seen in ages. Having a 12 year old myself and being around in the 80's as a teen, trying to explain to my son what Sledgehammer ment...I was just so amused. Very well done gents!!!

The Sledgehammer is a carnival ride. It goes around like a small Ferris wheel and the little cars spin at the same time. A lot of people got sick on this ride.

Most of all, what's great about your reaction,..that your passing this on to the next generation,..awesome,..and yess , your so right about the how painstaking it was to make this video,..in some interview, Peter talked about, just the part with the train, was so tedious,..taking days to film,..all of it really,..taking so much time to work with like you said real objects,..no cgi,. the Harryhausen method,..stop-motion,..like the old ,..like black and white film, King Kong,..just look at that,..now you know darn well they didn't have cgi back in the 1930's,..and even the brilliance of the puppetry of Jim Henson, and Frank Oz in Dark Crystal did exist,..it was all hands on artistry,..took a great deal of patience,.and imagination, and the will and know how to bring it to life,..I salute the artist of yesterday,..we sit back and enjoy something,..they really did put sweat, tears and elbow grease as they use to say into it,..the 80's were a renaissance of not only music, but of visual effects,..please keep showing young man the videos you grew up with,..think you said you were a kid at the time,..well I was a young working adult,..MTV was my jam,..saw so many amazing videos,..most of the time it was like going to an art gallery, right in my room,..Aha, "Take Me On",.., some of them were like movies, with stories,..plots,..ZZ Top,."Legs",...Michael Jackson, Thriller,..big dance productions like the old musicals like Singing in the Rain,..which Michael was greatly influenced by,..dancers like Fred Astire, Gene Kelly,..Nicolas Brothers,..do keep going,..Peter's videos can be wild,..but ohh do they make you want to dance,..and entertaining,..Big Time,..Kiss The Frog,..he also did a song featured in Wall-e, "Down To Earth",..he uses a chior,..has that gospel sound,..enjoy, Godspeed, Peace ✌

The technique used in this video clip is "stop motion", the claymation is filmed picture by picture at around 10-15 frames per second. Here's another example of short movie in stop motion that allows witches to "fly" on their brooms :

Love this song one of my favourite female singer does backing vocals on this PP. Arnold and she is worth checking out she did a Song with Rod Stewart called Baby come home recorded in the 60s produced by Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards playing on it
