The Bassanis rock! and I dig the gloss black frame and fenders and chrome spokes. Seems like erybody’s got matt finish these days. You got just the right amount of chrome. Very cool.
Is it possible to remove the floorboards on these and swap with mid controlls and pegs? Have only seen them with the boards.. sorry if this sounds like silly question.
Aussie Rider - I have them both. I have a short shot on my 48. I like it first time I had it. But for soundwise, I prefer the Bassani. More pleasant to the ear. I can listen to it all day compare to deafening sound of short shot that you may need an earplugs. Check out my HD 48 and compare it yourself. Thanks man!
DO NOT BUY THIS EXHAUST! They will rust within a year. Bassani will not warranty or back their product. Their customer service rep told me since they are made in California they can not use the proper coating to stand up to the weather. Inferior product with even worse customer service.
Do you have a garage? I don't have any problem with mine. No signs of rust still looks great and sounds awesome... I'll update you guys but so far so good!
My bike has been kept in a climate controlled garage. The California restrictions on coatings was the excuse i received from their customer service so that is their words not mine.
@KIRBOSKI why so defensive? Do you work for them? The bike has been garage kept from day 1 and wiped down with a cloth any time it was out. Probably should get all the facts before shooting your mouth off like a true keyboard warrior.
@KIRBOSKI HD has advised that one rider has had his replaced 4 times and each set only lasts approx a year or less. Guy finally gave up and ditched bassani completely.
@KIRBOSKI if it was my fault and i was looking to play the blame game wouldnt i just try to play it with bassani? Why would i waste time warning others. If you dont have any issues with your pipes good for you. If you hear what i have to say and still buy them then good for you. Im just telling you what happened to mine and how i was treated by bassani. Still dont know why you jumping on my case and taking it personally. Grow up. Listen to my warning or dont. Up to you.
My dream.
A piece of art.

They're very nice looking bikes. Harley really got down when they came with this model.
Thanks brother!
The softtail slim is IMO THEbest looking hog you can buy. No ifs or buts..
Those Bassanis sound boss!
Com certeza a harley davidson mais bonita na minha opinião! ABRAÇÃO daqui do Rio Grande do Sul BR
Sounds perfect
Simple badassery right there.
Beefy Motorcycle 🇺🇸👍That is an Awesome Bike !
Same year and all as mine... I'm still stuck on deciding on pipes... these or the radical radius freedom performance pipes ?
Really nice bike

Valid question, it would take away the "retro" look, but should be able to do it.
VERY nice!!, im tossing up between those pipes and the short shots. Do you just have the stage 1? such a clean cool looking and sounding bike.
