The funniest thing is that this story is pretty tame by comparison. If you ever want to read that thread, and other "big" (albeit not always gross) reddit threads, there is a subreddit called /r/museumofreddit and if you sort by "Top" and "links from all time" and there are some great historical moments. Like when a guy was able to rick-roll Rick Astley himself while Astley was posting old photos of music tours he had been on, or the guy who screwed himself on a date by pretending to not know what a potato is. But then there are also stories like Coconutmare, which are not for the faint of heart, it's disgusting.
