Just needs paint to make it perfect...... how long did it take? It looks amazing....MILES better than that custom build Voltes V you made years ago from an RX-78 Gundam.....Now if only bandai can do this perfection....
ArchFreedom it is manually designed and cut. Material i used is Sintra boards. Notice the white board i used as platform on the first image. it is Sintra.
arvinangeles2012 You scratch built this whole thing; that's really cool. If you don't mind me asking how did you make the chest component; like, how did you wrap your head around making the curve?
Wow very nice its beautiful but from the looks of it its very fragile ..i think its for display only you cant play with it everytimd cuz there s high chance that it will break if your'e a "SIRANIKO"person
Fatal Strikez sorry but sintra is stronger than plastic plates. i can drop the chest or feet and it wont break. it is now fully painted and I always bring this to different display events. 😊 thanka
@@arvinangeles2012 I have now seen it... Nice.... I still hate you... (you know what I mean... hehehe) I have a Voltes V papercraft, but its not the same if I don't have the 5 Volt Machines. Its made of specialty board which is easy to deform if not handled carefully. I need to strengthen its form, so I coated/painted it with several layers of "pva glue and water mixture". After hardening, I painted it with nail polish There's no papercraft pattern for the sword, so I made one out of popsicle sticks; and epoxy clay formed the sword's "V" hilt. ===================== I tried making the 5 Volt Machines out of popsicle and barbecue sticks, but stopped just after making the 2 arms with shoulder pivot joints... no hands.... (just lost steam in making them)... Anyway... The arms can extend and retract... the elbows works as well... and at the shoulder, I added a rotating joint so it can swing front-to-back and can even rotate its arms 360-degres front to back, up/down;... and can extend its arms left and right (though no central body to connect the 2 arms) Its like the Volt Bomber... only without Mark's command module (from front to back) I don't know if I'm gonna try to resume building it.
Gawa ka video step by step instruction pag gawa para saaming funs ni voltes v din. Hindi kasi ako satisfied sa laki ng SOC gx-31. Kung 12 inches sana hindi 9' ang ginawa nila.
i hate to be picky but.... where is the pose after volt-... oh there is the post..... it will be epic if there is a tarpolline with a "V".. hehehe anyway nice craftsmanship
wilford padio thank you. This was completely painted and already displayed in 6 toyfair and exhibits here in Manila. You can check it at my FB too to see it in full color.
You got me there. For a hot minute I thought it was all 3D printed, but no, it's sintra plastic.
