Is it impressive? Yes, totally. Is it beautiful? Yeah, it's pretty cool looking. But it's just shapes, if you were to get all the materials, time, and all the things needed, you'd be able to build this too. I'm not saying it's bad, but there are certainly better buildings in MC community. Also, you're surprised this is built for just an end portal? People often build crazy things just for the sake of building crazy things.

And yes, this one is all just geometric shapes, similar to my prismarine base. I find those to be visually pleasing while also not being a nightmare for building in survival at such large scale.

Not just the stunning build but also the entertainment of watching it from a viewer's perspective. This is probably one of the largest-scale builds I have ever seen on survival Minecraft, and just watching it come together was extremely impressive. Congratulations Vesko on such an impressive build, imo this channel is extremely underrated and I just hope that this channel will grow. Edit: I forgot to mention how these builds are also definitely a great inspiration for new builders to pursue their dream as you are proof of the astonishing outcome.
"i want to do this too!" starts survival world : realizes it takes me like 3-4 hours just to find the end portal...and another 3-4 hours to get all the mats for a beacon and another 3 hours to get enough eyes to open the portal so i can use the bedrock to cheese wither and another 3 hours to get enough wither skulls to get the nether star for the beacon block, then i can finally start the build "i think ill just watch youtube"

I think the number one problem is the original end portal itself, you can't do too much with it, you could use the mushroom method or the bedrock breaking method to get rid of the frames, but it's a permanent change in a Minecraft survival world. Also there is only the 3x3 area or technically the 7x7 space to work with. You could have a majestic build, then there is the end portal frames; this video and build was amazing nonetheless, but that block is just a pet peeve of mines, same thing with nether portals but that's not as bad.
