I have watched so many of his videos. You can tell that he is genuinely excited about his new pressure washer because you can see the slight grin and higher energy level that he has on the entire time he is unboxing the pressure washer.

Di water filter vessel between outside tap and pressure washer, allows you to safely wash your car under a hot sun, Without panicking about water Marks. Your car will look cleaner too, as all the mineral salts will be removed. If you live in a hard water area it will be especially noticeable. Nice motor!! The k5 is a great washer the motor is encased in aluminium, unlike cheaper versions that have plastic bodies,which are more prone to freezing and a very bad day.

I recently had new siding installed but kept the old gutters and small areas surrounding my house that weren't replaced so they looked horrible and dirty because of the new siding. I needed to get it cleaned asap. When I used the pressure washer, man it just melted all the dirt and grime that was on those areas of my house. I used that krud kutter soap and it was over after that. Easy to assemble, feels durable, very simple to use. Also, I purchased a used one to save money and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I want to get more use out of it so I think I'll be washing the cars and update this comment as time goes on.
Please do a review on the Type-R 😄 We have 2 black and 1 “titanium” (very dark brown) colored cars, I feel your pain to keep them nice and shiny especially since I have to clean them 😂
Can you give me your thoughts on the hose and is it a real pain in the butt because of the kinking so many people complain about? Also, does the standard hose wrap up neatly and hang nicely on the back?
Must admit, the hose is not a great design, i have seen quite a few people that have purchased another hose to replace it. Also i find it doesn't wrap up nicely on the back, it just coils up and can be a little frustrating. I am still really impressed with it though as far as the performance goes.
I just bought one after my previous 5.7 lost pressure after 12 years. I am frustrated with it as the cable management is appalling there is no wheel to reel in the high pressure hose and you apparently have to just wrap it around the unit. Backward step unless i am missing something!
Why does no one mention the cheap and frustrating Karcher bayonet interlock system for swapping out attachments, just took off main lance yellow insert left on trigger. Removed with long nose pliers, fitted karcher foam gun leaks from interlock and yet another yellow nozzle left in the trigger wish Karcher would sort out bayonet fitting. Have loads of attachments but hate to change them as you don’t know if they are going to disconnect or connect correctly. Complained to Karcher’s who sent a pack of yellow inserts with a range of o-rings with unintelligible diagrammatic instructions.
My heart sank when I thought you were going to use the ‘swirl master’ rotating brush on your black car. Really pleased to see you didn’t in the end. In terms of foam lances, the karcher ones are poor, if you are going to buy a new one anyway I’d look at a proper detailing one, it will be night and day compared with this one. The karcher shampoo is also not really a foam product itself so you can pick up lots better than that. My only other advice in on the surface cleaner head, brush away any small stones before you use it or they end up flicking around inside it and breaking off little bits of yellow plastic 👍🏻
I got some snow foam from a place called signature group in sale on a bottle 3 times bigger than yours on need an inch then fill with water really thick
Bad quality. Mine stopped working after few years. With little use. I have cared for it all the right ways. Very expensive, happy in the beginning, angry and sad now.
Looks like utter crap from Karcher again, look at how that long 10m hose curls up as you use it. Poor quality, cheap plasticy parts. Most people don't know bad quality, until they see proper good quality, I would recommend looking at Ava pressure washers, they come with proper hoses and minimum 10 year warranty (or 20 years for top end models) and don't cost much more than the K5 / K7.
@lords-electrical ye I honestly really want to buy a Karcher but they keep screwing up their products by cheaping out. At least they offer 5 year warranty now.

I tried my friends K2 and the hose isn't as bad as it seems, I've tried the Aldi / Lidl pressure washers and their hoses are on another level of crapness. I wanted to buy an Ava one but they are never in stock and still have new company teething issues. Given Karcher offer 6 year warranty now, I'm happy to finally give them a try.
