Looks good but you should do on freshly washed hair. I have and it’s recorded on my channel. I love my wet look style. It’s really just a wash and go. Use good holding gel and you don’t Need to use too much
Oh my gosh! I tried this a few years ago and had the same experience - hair that stayed ickily wet for 72 hours. I don’t think I am willing to repeat that! But thank you for your vlog, you looked lovely.
I'm late to the party but I have to say that I like this on you better than any type 4 natural I've seen. Your take on this style captures what our hair actually looks like when wet, instead of just sticking it down. Some of the others takes make sense but really just remind me of a time where we didnt know that our hair was limitless and wanted to emulate other textures.

You could've done it on damp to dry hair.

All that hair gel 🤢 this is why I’d never try this look even though it looks really good. And it took 4 days to dry?! Nope lol

i prefer volume i like my hair big and since i have 4c hair i don't have much of a curl pattern
I stick w volume because I don’t have a choice😅I soak my hair with gel, it’s defined & at a nice length for like 30 minutes & then poof! Frizz🤦🏾♀️
