Vitamin has been making machines since 1921 all in the USA in Cleveland Ohio. I love, love, love my Vitamix 7500 in Cinnamon. There isn't anything it can't do and do really well. Don't waist your money on a cheaper blender. Vitamin is an investment... an investment in your health and the health of your family. Vitamin even blows Blendtec away. Its the best!
Just received my Vitamix 750 today. Absolutely love it, yet angry that i didn't know about the company. I had, however, been using a blender made in America for 12 yrs. Needed a new one, and found Vita because I would only buy made in USA. So grateful!!! GO USA!!!!!!
I just recently got a vitamix and haven't used it that much yet since i'm kinda busy but I can't wait to get into it more. Who noticed @43:50 when Jan flipped the vanilla ice cream over that it started to fall out just before he flipped it back over. I got scared for a moment there. Jan is the best at these presentations tho. And with Albany too they make a great entertaining show that's definitely worth watching. Vitamix for the win!!!
I had bought a vitamix around 2002 and used it but in 2012 in hurricane sandy it went under water (salt) and sat in that water for a couple days before I could get back into the home it was in, I took it to my other home and submerged it in a bucket of fresh water and forgot about it for a week or so. when i remembered it i took it apart and sprayed it with wd40 and hung it by its cord to dry up, put it back together and i still am using today, it won't quit😊
I have this model that I purchased from Vitamix directly. I am very happy with it. It is much more powerful than my twenty year old model. You get what you pay for and this turns out a very smooth product. I have been making green smoothies and it blends them to perfection. It makes hot soup in five minutes. If you can afford it buy a Vitamix.
Here I am in 2020 five years later... and I'm watching y'all (Yes, I'm a Southern Woman). ... and I had decided to buy the 750... but was still considering this the 7500... and I love this one... so now I don't know which one to pick!!! I own this vitamix and it makes great frozen margaritas with what ever fresh fruits you want and it is liquified. Smoothies are simple and there is a recipe idea book that comes with it.
I enjoyed the video overall and the high energy level and down to earth, warm friendliness from Albany Irvin and Jan Muller, who provided the very well-presented demonstration. However, there is a logic that I just cannot let pass, and I'm not just picking on QVC, , because it is elsewhere also, namely: one buys a machine to improve one's health, improve one's lifestyle and longevity . . . and then turns around and make margaritas, which destroys the liver. I suppose the logic is: that if you use the Vitamix to do it . . . THEN it MUST also be healthy for you, right? Right. I always find the reasoning so convoluted in the manner in which such things are justified and legitimized . . . and NO guilt. Vitamix . . . the “healthy” alcoholic's dream machine . . . but whatever it takes to sell the product and make the money. . . Cheers!
I know which infomercials you mean with those "pretender blenders." I happen to have "that brand" sitting down here in the basement kitchenette (well, wet bar, but either way). However, for my main kitchen blender, I definitely see this brand being the one to go with. Definitely looking at least at the VM 5200/5300 if not this machine.
I love spinach, beets, celery, tomato, cucumber little water little ice.. and good to go...I don't mix fruit with mine or anything sweet. it's wonderful.
Love My 7500. It's just great. I've never experience any black particles. I've tried other machines and nothing compares to this. The others MAY do a decent job for the first few uses but after that the quality goes down and I just have to replace it less than year later.
I want to ask when you made broccoli and cheddar soup and blended it for 6 regular minutes so did it automatically become hot? Or you had added hot water in it? And if we continuously run the Vitamix machine for 6 mnts Is the motor safe?
I have noticed the blander say the back side where u make hot soups those blander have a covering on it. What is that n why u used it and where to get it?
Karin Hall Vitamix announced that these new containers may burn your motor due to its large blade design. I've seen these new jars on a similar blender that looks alike to the creations. I think the extra .2 horse power is designed for the jar.

The purpose of the video provided by QVC is to show that the VitaMix has the least issues of any of the available machines today. Remember the 7 year warranty which is extendable! VitaMix is also very quick to develop fixes for any reported problems...as of now, VitaMix tech has notified users that an improvement will be released later this year for the "black spec issue." VitaMix wins again folks, don't trust the negative press!
Tanshie Bless 7500 is the full manual machine, whereas the 750 model features many presets. This is the main difference. As a result, there exterior differences between the models. Both machines do the same jobs with equal precision, it just depends on whether or not you want presets.

Tanshie Bless Tanshie, the only reason to get the new models, be it the 7500 or 750 would be for the 2.2 hp motor (.2 hp increase) and shorter unit height. You know your kitchen, if your cabinets are tall enough to accommodate the older models, I'd get one of those because they are cheaper. If you're dealing with low cabinets, 7 series is your best bet. You can buy Vitamix directly from the company to get special deals and warranty perks, and I believe they ship to the Caribbean. If not, you may consider buying one from TH-cam users like BlendingWithHenry, he's a Vitamix seller and I believe he can ship anywhere, also. I'd discourage buying from chain Internet retailers like Amazon simply because they may/may not offer the perks and services that Vitamix does.

I made my own almond butter, roasted butternut squash soup, peanut butter is great with half honey roasted and half plain peanuts, smoothies it makes it all one consistency. Lol but I got an amazing deal on it.
When on high the fan is at full speed and therefore the motor stays cool. I’ve left mine running for 20 minutes or more many times when keeping something hot while prepping a big meal. Cheese sauce and gravies at holiday meals staying piping hot without fear of overcooking is a struggle! 😂
He left some of them om WAY too long! I own one, and for the smoothies, if you leave it half that time you get the smoothie at the same consistency. The amount of time he left that thing on actually heats it up and starts to cook the contents. That destroys nutrients.
Yeah. I own a vitamix and it's not necessary. It works in 45 seconds to 1 min 30 secs depending on the type of vegetables or fruits you put in it. I love it and I really am eating 80% more fruits and vegetables
I just paid less than $400. Certified Refurbished from Vitamix with a 5-year warranty. Arrived spotless...and works flawlessly. Something to consider for those who want to save some money but still really want this.
First of all let me state that I, like all other Vitamix owners love the Vitamix. However, I'm tired of all the people 'parroting' each other on the fiber being the most important part! Fiber is important, however, we get the most nutrients from juicing, not blending. Fruits/nuts/seeds...blending is best! Vegetables, juicing is best! And that is simply a FACT.
And really, if you're that concerned about the fiber, you can take it out of the pulp bin of your juicer and bake it into muffins or put it into sauces. That's what I've always done. Eliminates waste, too!
I know this is an old comment, but in case anyone's still reading - There's a small power button you have to switch on before using. Facing the machine, you'll reach towards the back with your right hand. It's on the side, not all the way on the back.
Yes, to turn this series on you first turn on the machine with the switch in the right side. Then you can turn the knob to 1 and press down on the start switch on the front of the machine.

+I3ehr I bought a Professional Series 750 Heritage Vitamix last weekend, and I love it. This is very new, only the 780 is newer and both have the latest sound-dampening technology. It is loud, but not horribly loud, unlike the 5200. And mine has the pre-set cycles, so even when it is loud for a smoothie it's only for 30 seconds. I have no intention of making soup or anything that keeps it at that level for six minutes. I can imagine the reaction at your house! Your family must have thought a train was coming through. LOL
+Sashine B. Fancy!!! The new metal colored ones look awesome. Supposedly the 7500 is just as quiet as the 750, but it's super loud. And I've made many 6 minute recipes in the last few days. Enjoy!

I made frozen yogurt with one cup yogurt and 2 cups frozen fruit on 10 with tamper and it's a smoothie I waited 5 minutes it didn't freeze??

You left it on WAY too long (it began to heat up) and likely needed more ice than just the frozen fruit.

It's okay. The stem is blended and pulverized so it could be digested. Plus, the stem has fiber.
