the rain, the thunder, the mysterious howling in the distance.
other people might think of next room radio, thunderless rain, classical music etc etc. but for me, this is it; my comfort space, my cozy zone.
all it lacks is the crackling campfire and the cheap guitar though.

it is, ive noticed that stalker anomaly uses some hl2 ambient noises

Yeah, that's Ravenholm zombie wailing. Some wind sounds are hl too. Likely a stock library as these sounds pop up even in an occasional movie or ad as I've been noticing over the years
