      yes my son gets a sensation like that and i can’t really explain it but he explained it as when a hair on his forehead kind of is a little downwards, he gets this weird sensation in that area. He also gets tangling and numbness and thinks it’s MS he has suffered with anxiety received. CBT and CBT was great. His anxiety is like gone, however he has those symptoms every once in a while and doesn’t think they are part of anxiety because he feels he recovered from anxiety and is not having any more anxiety

    I find it hard when anxiety symptoms pop up when I feel like I haven’t been stressed. I guess we can stress subconsciously without realising? And I have definitely experienced delayed anxiety symptoms - for example my digestive system took a real hit recently after a rough few months, even though at that time I felt better!

    Honestly I have been experiencing so many symptoms since 2020 that I can barely keep track of any new symptoms anymore. It's so exhausting and mentally draining that whenever it happens, I just lay down and practically do nothing. I know I shouldn't let it get to me but it's really intense and I wish more people would understand this type of anxiety. Anxiety isn't just "feeling a little anxious" it's so much more than that for many people. Ever since I got my first panic attack, things just kept going more and more downhill. I don't want to lie and say that I'm doing better now, I wish this were the case but I'm really not. But of course some days are better than others but while other days just get so horrible and the more I keep fighting it and keep distracting myself from thinking it, the more it comes back stronger. Somedays the distractions work though but it really varies on the day. Wish I had someone to talk to because not having anyone who can understand you can make things a whole lot worse. This is why it's really important for me to read other's experiences with it so that I don't feel so alone with it because right now I feel really alone and I have no idea who to talk to. :/

    • @ellenkay2314
      @ellenkay2314 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Same here, you're not alone with all of that feelings & experiences & stress,, It just never stop. From headache, to sore throat, pins & needles in some area, stomachache, making me so exhausted for years. The only that calm me down a bit is talking to doctors about my symptomps n sometimes having some test (even though it didnt last long until another symptoms come). But for me, being alone making it even worse. I think we need to talk about it to someone who never get bored to listen. Find someone to talk to, maybe family or friend, or a doctor/psychologist if you can (for myself, I talk to my husband). At least they can distract us a little bit from those symptoms). We need to do something to change that, to get our mental health back. Dont give up! We can do this God bless

    Currently experiencing this from anxiety…tingling, pins and needles on mainly left side of face, arm, leg and foot. When shower water hits my left arm it feels like my hair is standing up from static. So frickin odd. I swear my vocal chords get impacted as well. Anxiety is one of the worst curses you can have. It is a tragedy that there is not ONE pharmaceutical that is not classified as an anti-depressant and not habit forming. It’s sad for people like me who have a legit anxiety disorder, but I’m treated like a junkie when I ask for medication to help me function. I cannot take antidepressants (swab test confirmed) so I struggle to find natural alternatives. Prayers for anyone reading this that suffers from anxiety. I would do anything to not deal with this condition and the oddball shit it creates in the body

My hands are literally numb as a type this. I’m getting medication soon which I hope helps. Overall it’s just so weird because I don’t feel anxious, or it may be delayed anxiety. Hello darling! I too have suffered from being a hypochondriac. First it is important to understand how you became that way. For me I had a father who loved teasing me as a child. He'd do things like stick rose thorns on his nose & forehead then walk around like he was unaware that they were there. When I noticed them, he looked in the mirror & acted surprises & concerned. Then he told me that he had not been eating his vegetables. I ran in the house & grabbed a bag of carrots & ate them until I threw up. He buckled over with laughter but to a 4 year old, that was very real to me. He teased with subjects far more sinister at other times & so I grew up with this fear of disease & death. In my teens I became an athlete & have remained so my entire life. So the first step is to figure out how you became a hypochondriac & the second step is to exorcise regularly & eat healthy so that the idea of any of your fears is actually even more rare & closer to impossibility than you're willing to even think about. . .

When I was trying to relax this summer, I couldn’t physically feel relaxed. I just had a dr appointment and will be trying medication in combination with therapy, yoga, nature, art therapy, physical/mental rest, and supplements (magnesium, b vitamins, ashwaganda). In February of 2022 I started getting a few heart palpitations. A few weeks later I had my first full blown panic attack. Many doctors and a good half gallon of blood later still no answers. Still getting panic attacks, my left arm goes numb constantly when I'm having these attacks. Brain fog, feeling outside of my body. Sleeping 10+ hrs, then having an attack and sleeping another 4 hrs. I'm on a crap ton of magnesium, a few other things, and a benzo. Yet I'm still getting these attacks. Mine tend to be more heart related. I've had 3 EKGs, had a zio patch for 2 weeks, a stress test, and an echocardiogram. My heart is fine they say. Recently they said I am slightly anemic, yet my iron levels are fine. I just miss my old life, I miss drinking regular coffee, I miss having energy, I miss being around crowds, being able to go out. I've missed countless hours of work, had to cancel meetings with friends and family, wasted countless weekends just sleeping. I'm scheduled to see yet another doctor, an endocrinologist, and they want me to go back to cardiology just to make sure yet again. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm tired of it.

    Thank you so much for sharing this! I’m 36 years old. I have struggled with my anxiety, my entire life but the past couple of months it has been worse than I’ve ever ever experienced and it is utterly terrifying. I’m having heart palpitations, dizziness, kind of brain fog, and my newest symptom is the tingling. It started on my right leg and now it is both legs and certain parts of my arms as well as my right temple. I had a CT scan and that was clear thankfully, so I’m just wondering how I can get a hold of my anxiety now. I do have a appointment with a neurologist. It’s August and the earliest they can get me in is October, so I’m hoping they can do an MRI to rule anything serious out. What are some things that you have done to help with your anxiety? Sidenote, I’m sorry if my texting is all awkward I’m voice messaging right now. Lol but thank you again for sharing your journey with us!

    I have anxiety and tingling in my scalp and it is due to lack of blood going to the brain...I m doing acupuncture and manipulation of my neck muscles and cervical vertebrae.. ..If you don't get proper blood flow to the brain then your going to have anxiety. Proper blood flow brings o2, glucose etc to keep your brain properly fed. As my therapist says its like the Suez Canal...If everything is clear in the canal, then the ships move thru..Awhile back one ship got stuck and nothing moved thru...Same with your body....blockage and you have a problem no blood to you brain..tingling and anxiety..
    I had this several years ago and did not have any resources to help me. Luckily, somehow it went away and I was good for 6 more years.

    I had them at times sweaty palms and tingly sensations in my arms, face, neck area during attacks or feeling generally very anxious. Other symptoms ive had bad last year especially from lack of sleep to fast heartrate palpitations etc horrible. The anxiety is much better this year with the world getting slowly back to normal with the virus at least. However this year since March ive had some dysphagia which ive read anxiety can cause combined with acid reflux so that sucks. I can eat and drink but I eat a little less and drinking liquids is challenging at times depending how my throat feels that day and if my brain is going to be bipolar with my throat swallowing mechanism like some days i have this hesitation alot more than others like swallow, don't swallow yet wait for the perfect swallow inhave to focus on it which sometimes gives me minor anxiety.

    Been having the same feeling now for almost half a year. Started on my left leg then went spread to my left arm and face. Now I have it all over my body. Got a brain MRI, neck MRI, a few X-rays and a blood test. All came back fine. Went to 4 different neurologist and an osteopath. They all independently told me the same thing, that it was most likely anxiety. Which is a relief for a while but when the symptoms feel more prominent I always start to worry that it might be something else.

    I’m legit going through this right now. Tension related headaches which initiated my anxiety to begin with. I had tingling in my face, heavy breathing, and my body feels like it’s vibrating all day. I have an MRI and bloodwork scheduled for tomorrow, Here are some helpful tips out there. Stop drinking caffeine immediately because it exacerbates all of the anxiety symptoms. Also I had to take Xanax twice last week and although it helped a side effect of Xanax is blurred vision so for 2 days I could barely see. Literally everything I keep seeing says MS, ALS, Parkinson’s, and it freaked me out. So just know we are all going though it but it’s nice to have a community to chat to about it.

    For 2 months now, I'm having numbness and tingling in the right side of my face, starting behind my ear, wrapping around the entire jaw about halfway to the other side. It's scary. MRI and bloodwork shows that I'm healthy as a horse. Except I have sinusitis that may be causing pressure. But, it feels like a nerve/neurological issue. Wondering how I can tell without going to a neurologist. I don't really have the money for that nor do I have insurance.

    I recently had to take a course of antibiotics. I honed in on & worried about one rare side effect (nerve damage) and lo and behold 2 days later I started to get symptoms of it. I finished the course but 2 weeks later the symptoms are as bad as ever - intermittent burning/itching/prickling skin - started in feet but now lower legs, hands, wrists, scalp, face, mouth…I’m awaiting nerve conduction study but deep down while this COULD be a real side effect, I have health anxiety and when I read something that scares me I am likely to experience it - which is crazy but I guess it’s the nocebo effect. The symptoms are real and scary but I’m not convinced deep down the cause is the meds. Logically it would be a massive coincidence to develop the one unusual side effect that scared me the most…but there is nothing logical about anxiety! Now of course the sensations are scaring me enough to keep the anxiety alive & kicking. These videos are so so helpful. Thank you!!! I’ve never had these anxiety symptoms before so it is very unsettling and makes it hard to believe ‘just’ anxiety but listening to this has made me realise it really could be ❤

    Thank you for making this video. I’ve had to deal with a blocked ear for 3 months. Fluid in it and neck pain for all the way through. The last 4 weeks it drained but my neck pain is worse and now tingling in my head (the top of the head) has started and persisted. Along with a closing feeling in the windpipe. The war problem is physical as is the neck but I’m wondering if the head tingling might be more down to anxiety though it could be spinal. Either way, your video really comforted me. Thank you. My MRI is next Thursday.

    I had about a year ago a serious headache and dizziness for at least a month. I went to an eye specialist, she said, that there is no problem with my eyes. It was a very stressful period, i was writing my thesis, first wave of Covid, home office, and preparing for my wedding. My doctor said its anxiety. After about a year, the dizziness and headache came back. The left side of my face was numb, and i felt tingling in left calf and arm, hand. I went to the neurologist, she said after the physical examination, that I am all right, but sent me to a brain MRI. My MRI is fully normal, and she said it is no MS, becouse i said, i am afraid of MS. To be honest, i am afraid of MS still, and before the MRI I had panic attacks and constant anxiety. There were some peaceful days since, but mostly im panicked, that they missed something. My back, at my left shoulder is tingling like hell. Oh and before the fear of MS, I was afraid of brain tumor, skin cancer, i developed a reflux, then i was afraid of esophageal cancer. Can it be just stress? I was googling MS symptoms, watches a lot of videos, and i was more afraid (It was before the neurologist and before MRI) Do you have any advice? pls.

    This video is really really helpfull! It's truly good to know that we're not the only one suffering from these symptoms. I am currently stressing out about the right side of my body tingling (face, arm and leg). It started a couple weeks ago and it's still there. No weakness, numbness or anything like that. I do experience stiffnes/tension in my right hand and right leg and i am totally convinced that this is something terrifying like MS or a brain tumor. Blood test came out perfect. Had some extreme stressfull events happening in my life the past few months so deep down i know that this could be stress/anxiety as well.. Got an appointment with the neurologist in a few weeks.
