Here's a tip for anyone who wants to do low level Diluvian much quicker: Enchant a battleaxe with prov thorns, then give it to your freshie slot. Just remember: You can't use enchant stones until level 10, and if you can't enchant the weapon because it is "corrupted", simply unequip the battleaxe and re-equip it, then put the battleaxe in your bank. Your sanity WILL thank you.
I used to do this as well, but honestly it doesn't really matter once you learn how prov thorns is calculated. It does 30% of your damage (i don't know if it takes outside pve scaling like chains or damage mods) then multiplies it by your level. This means at lower levels, it's not going to do jack for damage. PVE damage = (31.14% * Your level) * current weapon damage Prov Thorns = 30% of your damage * level Lets say you're level 5, your pve damage with a battleaxe would be 31. Taking 30% of that then multiplying it by your level (5) would be around 46 - 47, meaning each prov thorns hit is really only a bit more than another m1. Vamp for survivability or something like Grim or Sear to help mantra damage or Astral (if you're rich) might help a little more at a lower power, or if you lose the prov thorns battleaxe along the way it doesn't really matter much

If you were fighting against a mob whose attacks had you parry multiple things(think golems and threshers), this would be very useful. While I agree that grim is pretty good for an enchant, most people are able to parry and often aren't trying to stat check a golem in the dulivian mechanism at power 1. If you don't like prov thorns, then I would absolutely recommend using vampirism(if you suck) or grim(if you don't suck as much), though astral is just a damage bonus and sear adds armor pen.
if ur heavy, u can just clear lionfish 0 diff, just spam crit/m1s and try to time the guard break with the cero, since it does no damage then. and run into a corner so it doesnt bite/run away

Also u can cheese the lionfish. Stand at the deluvian, the lionfish will try to pass u but get stuck on it, as long as you are on the other side of the little spike the laser cannot damage u, he won’t try to bite u, and he won’t swim away.
I've been playing for a while. It is quite likely that you will wipe a lot before you start getting cracked at anything, but if you stick with it and try to learn from mistakes instead of getting disheartened by them you'll have fun!

dont use vow of thorns for this, u can already get to max level in 2 hours with normal deepbound and with this new update u can get max level in just an hour its not worth getting harder depths trials for it just dont use vow of thorns lol
