    A quote from the resolving PC markers section of the rules... "If more than one PC marker needs to be resolved, do it in alphabetical order. Resolve multiple markers of the same letter in
    random order." So you should randomize 1-4, and resolve all the PC A markers first, then 1-4 for the Bs. Thanks so much for this series, I'm still working out some kinks (like the reaction fire from inc, AND the next move also taking the hit).

    When you were looking for unit placement, the unit on the right is in Column 4. Column is vertical, and Rows are horizontal.

    Should there have been a -1 modifier for Incoming Fire when resolving AT combat against the LV carrying the MG team? ( 15 minutes in)

    Great play through

    Shouldn't all the LVs get 'exposed' markers given they're moving ?

    • @TheBlueTweezers
      @TheBlueTweezers  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually no. They don't. I found some Errata statements for 2nd edition from the designer some time ago that stated they don't. I believe one of the examples of play says they do though.

      @@TheBlueTweezers Many thanks for clarifying that.

      True, vehicles don't get -2 exposed markers for moving. They usually get the +1 modifier for moving target in the vehicle-aircraft phase. Don't know where I picked that up, though. Might have been the BGG forum. But how about disembarking passengers? I believe both the vehicle and the disembarked passenger should get marked with -2 exposed markers when disembarking. In this case, it wouldn't have made any difference, though. Great video! Thoroughly enjoyed it and will check out Mission 2 as well!

      @@01Hakhen Actually the clarification I had said never use the -2. Even though you are right that it is in the rules.

      @@TheBlueTweezers Ah, I see. I didn't see that clarification so I've been playing it like it's written. But its never really affected anything in my games, so I've always been wondering about it. Great video. Thanks.

    Cooooontact! 😊
    Another great one. I guess you have been lucky with the contact draws until now. Looking forward to how this goes.
    One thing though, when you draw the reshuffling card, aren’t you supposed to finish drawing cards and the reshuffle?

      Good catch. Looked it up and you are right. Will do it properly from now on. Thanks.

      I’ve only been playing the first game (2ed) a couple of times trying to learn, and somehow it’s all the small rules that somehow stays in the brain 😉
      Another one is the staging areas should be cards from another terrain card deck than the one you play. Not that it matters in this mission in any way.

    • @TheBlueTweezers
      @TheBlueTweezers  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Normally I would use them. In this mission there isn't really a staging area as the LVTs carry everyone in to the Surf Zone cards.

    I wouldn’t say I had an amazing knowledge of FoF, however at 33 minutes you place the tripod MMG in bunker with its PDF, firing straight down towards the US surf then beach. As the surf is a card with white edges, firing weapon is a tripod mounted mg, cards at same elevation, would that be grazing fire through the surf card onto the beach card? You resolved the fire on the surf card, should you then have resolved the fire onto the beach card as well? P34 6.4 Weapon types and restrictions: Machine guns, 3rd paragraph. Regards Richard. BTW I really enjoy the video play throughs, keep them up

      Yeah. You are right. I get the grazing fire a bit wrong a couple of times. Thanks.

    I believe (look at potential contact table) there are no potential contact b and c in the first mission: in the first row, 3 “a” for each card (so, in a “contact” situation you should draw 7 cards instead of 5).
    Keep up the good work!

      Actually in the briefing book lower and to the right of the main PC marker table, there's another table that suggests you use B and C markers UNDER the A PC markers in the Surf Zone.
