      Yeah but the thing is while im happy he shows he value the fact is that he needs to focus game in game out, he seems like hes still trying to mature. He just needs to focus so his decision making is solid. A great decision maker is always a problem for opposing teams.
      He has the potential to be a all time great play maker slash shooter. He needs to calm down and play to exactly who he is and remain active on the defensive side of the ball and the game will come to him. Hes great when hes great but he get quiet randomly which in my opinion is a sign of lack of focus. I know being serious all the time sucks but in order to win games you have to stay locked in for 48 min. If anything to coach up your fellow teamates while your taking a breather.

    Jalen : Mvp of the match hands down. Beside scoring he did a very clutch block good job both ways.
    Alpy: He started slow. He didnt attack like nearly whole game . But when its OT , he did 11 pts and 5 of them was last 51 secs. As jackson said, The closer nothing else to say.
    Jabari : He was really good. Some reason i dont know ime decided to bench him and keep 0-11 dillon for 36 mins. As Jackson again mentioned , he had to be in closing lineup imo.
    Dillon : Worst game of the season for him. That last min foul almost cost us a game. It happens no need to overreact.
    Fvv : Also not a good game for fred. 4/14 Played almost 42mins. Maybe he was tired , all good.
    Amen : So much clutch games .Clutch blocks- steals. Scoring with high fg%.He is fast , athletic. Full package. If Jalen is mvp today , Amen is the second and Alpy is 3rd for me.
    14-6 And next match against Thunders. Lets go Rockets!

    • @greglyon1402
      @greglyon1402 21 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yeah, not all that impressed with Dillon's defense. He seems to get beat and then commit a dumb foul. The reason Smith is pulled and not Dillon is that Smith is not doing what Udoka wants him to do. Maybe a bad read, a lapse in judgement, etc. Udoka keeps it all in house. Same for Green. Both Smith and Green need to take Udoka's instructions to heart and play up to their capabilities every game, not just now and then. This is what college is for, to get players grounded. Unfortunately, in today's world, players come into the NBA not ready, playing on talent alone.

      Bingo. First you have to learn how to win at home. Then on the road. Then in the playoffs. Thunder went through it. Rockets will have to go through it. Don't expect a championship in 2025. Still more growth ahead. Once these guys hit 25, then they will be ready.

  • @Fetemart

    Okay, I’m ready to say it.
    If Tari and Amen are doing their terror thing and the Rockets get at least two other players to score at least 20 points each, they can beat any other team in the West four games out of any given seven games, with the possible exception of OKC. OKC is the class of the WC and the standard by which the Rockets need to measure themselves the rest of the year. Therefore the upcoming game against OKC is a huge measuring stick for the Rockets.

    We need to get Cam Whitmore back beforw the Thunder game. We dont have enough offensive firepower to keep up with the Thunder.
    I much rather have Cam in the rotation than Reed. Reed is tok hesistant and scared to do anything, offensively.
    Cam dont have that issue. He's a dog....an alpha and aint scared at all.

      Cam, at his best, is a 35%+ 3-point shooter. He's been in a slump with the Rockets. I wouldnt worry about his shooting. He can definitely shoot.
      On top of that, he can get to the basket and finish. And he's a much bigger guard at 6'7 and 235 pounds.
      He's head and shoulders a better offensive player than Reed.

    I feel like a lot of the bench’s issue can be solved with replacing Reed’s minutes with Whitmore. Whitmore is perfect for those scoring droughts we have because he’s a bucket. The playtime that he has gotten has been mostly garbage time, so he hasn’t even had REAL game time apart from like 2 games. Reed has felt underwhelming so far and I don’t think he’s deserving of playtime over Whitmore.

    • @greglyon1402
      @greglyon1402 21 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Whitmore shooting is atrocious. 37% from the field and 5% from three. Udoka wants to get Reed going, but if he doesn't soon, those minutes will go to Holiday who is shooting 39% from deep on limited minutes. Reeds numbers are decent, but not for a guy that was supposed to be a shooter. Further, he has nights where he can't hit a shot and other nights when he is hot. Meanwhile, Knecht is shooting nearly 44% from three. Hope the Rockets did not whiff on the 3rd pick in 2024 draft. I still believe in Reed as the future point guard of the Rockets, but so far, he is struggling.

    About Al P, love the dude, but he should NOT be our closer. When he posts up, defenders can come at him from all angles to poke the ball away from him. Now, if they do what they did last night, meaning feeding him at the elbow, it does give him more options, but it’s not a long term solution - unless Al P is going to willingly take shots from there, rather than try to drive in, bc the D will give him that shot.

      @Fetemart Curry was the 7th pick in his draft, Sheppard was 3rd. Curry came to the NBA with elite shooting skills, so did Sheppard. Curry developed better handles and shot creativity, so can Sheppard. I'd dare say Sheppard has better athleticism. So why not Sheppard?

      @@dcc70 Curry was drafted in the 09 draft, with names like Blake Griffin, James Harden, and Derozan. I did expect he would be a great shooter like his dad, but didn't expect he would be a top 75 player.

With his size, hopefully Reed develops into the point guard of the future. Progress is slow. But I see the Rockets future line up as Sengun and a future draft pick at center. Reed and a backup point guard. Green, Amen and Cam rotating at the wings. Smith and Eason at power forward. I also look for the Rockets to draft another wing and point guard. Rockets were hoping AJ Griffin would be the fourth wing. Whom they draft all depends on the Suns right now as the Rockets picks will not be very high.
