Yep, that's Matt Hill doing Claude's voice. He's pretty impressive- Kero on Cardcaptor Sakura, Bankotsu in Inuyasha, Finn in Stormhawks, and Ryo in Ronin Warriors. :)
I love this show, but it's a shame that there isn't a second season. Anyone think it's possible this anime will be remade with a second season? That would be awesome, a dream come true... Ashton is by far my favorite character. I love it when Gyoro and Ururun posses him. The music suddenly changes and when the enemy is defeated Ashton doesn't know what happened. I also liked it when Gyoro and Ururun argued in the arms tournament. Ashton was so funny. I want another season!!!

@Cobaltios there are two ova's based of ffvii, and there was final fantasy legend of the crystals which was 4 ova's made in 94 based on one of the old school titles. then final fantasy unlimited the only one with a full season, so they made anime for it its just nothing special and they have little to do with the games so they aren't very popular but its worth checking out though

@staroceanmasterfan1 Well, an anime should be based on the Blue Sphere manga. I would love that. In case you don't know, lokai20 is translating Blue Sphere into english. He's been doing it for a while now and it's looking pretty good. You might want to watch the videos showing his progress, and when he's finished an english patch for the game will be available to download.

An English dub would be nice, only if the voice acting is really good, but since that is almost certainly never going to happen I'll be satisfied with subtitles. I've watched the entire EX series in Japanese but only a few English dubbed episodes. I don't think the English dub is as bad as a lot of people make it out to be, but in my opinion it's a lot better in Japanese.

soooo is this star ocean better than star ocean 3? SO3 was the only one i played and i heard this anime stops at the 2nd disc of the game! that must suck! shame they did not do the whole game!
mmm. i think what gamers look for in rpgs isnt the cause the characters fight for to be original, but the characters to be original. for example, i love rpgs for unique characters i find, but i hate shooters because the characters seem shallow, and the plotline is often nil.
The voice actor for Rena is not very good, and I guess I can get used to Claude's voice. I almost prefer subtitles. Btw you should post this on veoh (dot com) or on anime-eden (dot com)so that we CAN download this.
