I remember once at the bar my husband manages at a high end resort a woman across the bar asked me about the TF bitter peach I was wearing. I got out the bottle and offered her to spray as much as she liked. She seemed like a rather affluent woman but she was so touched by the offer. I was happy to share it with her and always remember it fondly.

Narcisse Taiji was just a purchase i made to try the house but it turned out to be a favorite of mine. Its an amazing green fresh smel thats uncommon yet not polarizing and one i truly enjoy even without compliments.
Hi Sebastian, Thanks for another great video. I look forward to getting my nose on many of the fragrances highlighted. My biggest complements come from Le Labo Neroli 36, Louis Vuitton Matière Noir, Diptyque Do Son EDT and Diptyque Orphéon.
I have so many Niche fragrances and some designer, Dior Homme Parfum is the king of complements from my collection. Never fails!

Completely agree about Oud Bleu Intense. I think it’s one of the best smelling fragrances I’ve ever smelled, I just wish it had better performance. If they ever come out with a more intense version, I’d immediately buy it

For me I always get compliments on Arabians Tonka by Montale, Dama Bianca by Casamorati, Lost cherry, musk therapy, histories debparfum blue bottle 1.2 and most of all of my Guerlains.
montale oud night and Chanel misia gets me compliments for sure
The two most complimented fragrances for me are Madurai from Memo Paris and Lust in Paradise by Ex Nihilo.
I believe patchouli is my most fav note... cant get enough of it ❤❤❤

Surprisingly, I get compliments for Encre Noire line (the OG and Extreme), but current most complimented is Ambre Imperial from Van Cleef & Arpels.
Ive gotten compliments on Portrait of a Lady, Chanel Chance, and Byredo Super Cedar and TF Black Orchid
Lately I have a lot of compliments on LM Kingkydis and LV Pacific chill !
That background is having impact. I had a dream, that I bought that WD-40 fragrance....
I’m a mid sprayer 6-8 sprays under clothes and the last spray usually as a mist I walk through.
A bunch here I’m waiting on samples/decants for :)
We’re heading into mid autumn here so reaching for the thicker scents. I have had the most compliments from: Oud Bouquet, Coromandel, Vert Malachite, Iris Celadon, Guidance, Brompton Immortals, Le Lion and Opus XII Rose Incense….
My most complimented are paradoxe intense by prada, La Vie Rêvée by Nino Amaddeo, Leisure in Paradise by Simone Andreoli, Pop Heart by Plume Impression
Jeroboam's "Gozo" is a head turner. I even got a discount at the grocery store once because of this perfume. I would also love to smell "Reine Makeda" or "Pas ce Soir" on a man but this has not happened to me (yet).

I am obsessed with Silky Woods (and Sunset Hour). I bathe in these and they both are compliment magnets on me. The elixir didn't do it for me bc of the cypriol oil note being so prominent to my nose. I'm sensitive to cypriol tho so it may not be such a big deal for others. I tend to layer Ambre Superfluide over any cypriol oil dominant fragrance (like Rialto by Gritti) and it cancels it out for me. I think it's the saffron and ambroxan doing the Lord's work.😂😂😂

I wore Raw Gold and my entire department went looking for the offender!😅. The fragrance is great and the dry down is out of this world. It also a sillage monster. Worth the price IMO!

Yep, overspeayer here! 🙋🏻♀️ Delina overall gets me the most compliments as does Dolce Melodía (which I’ve been stalked over numerous times).
I couldn’t get on off with Bora Bora in parfum cause of the powderiness but loved the florals in there. So I ended up buying Bora Bora in the lotion version; it’s lighter on the powderiness and smells like a clean airy baby post night shower. The lotion is heavenly ☁️👼🏼

@@BA-cz4is a lot jejeje...both wrists, inside elbow, across the chest and since I have long hair I really like to spray at the back of my neck under my hair where it gets warmer and the scent will stick around.

I got compliments with Fields of Rubus by Kerosene but, I've learned John Pegg has discontinued it. I'm having a mourning period. I loved, loved that juice so much. He's also discontinued Canfield Cedar. The new one is a vanilla perfume...not my jam at all. I've considered asking Mr. Pegg to bring back Fields of Rubus but, I'll move on while hoarding my last bottle.
I like BoraBora, but it's not everyday enough to justify a giant bottle. I got a 9 ml decant. I wish that brand carried smaller bottles.

I finally got my bottle of Porthole this morning from Scent Split. It’s been sold out for a few months so I had it on back order. It’s just as nice as I remember it, it will get heavy use this summer. My most complimented is probably Vibrato, I kinda feel like it’s nicer to smell off someone than on yourself though. It leaves such a good trail.
Vibrato is my hubbies favorite summer scent but I’ve been looking at giving him a 10ml sample of Porthole to have another option for hotter days. Sounds gorgeous!
Interesting , Michela sort of says same thing about garnering compliments. People have to smell it on if they are going to mention it to you .

For hiuse of materi, you said thay its a more niche take on thr scent, and im curious what that means when you say niche take..niche seems to use qll of thr same.ingredients as designer. I didnt find niche all that different. I am still unsire how niche are asking hundreds if dollars for their perfumes. And im open to learning😊

"compliments" is never a factor when i consider buying a fragrance. In fact, if a fragrance is being hyped as a "compliment getter" it might put me off it for a while. Its cringe, immature, and basically a grift praying on weak and sometimes even desperate men. But at least its not as slimy as "panty dropper"/
