    I put it up to showcase the design - we architects typically have a lot of unbuilt work.

    The plan was for the Government to award the project site to a private developer who would finance it. But with the global economic crisis and credit crunch, not so likely now.

    Beautiful addition to a fantastic island state. More uuse of nature could have been made at upper levels including the rooftops. Also the boating/shipping community could have connected by piers to relate closely to the land based patrons. Very excited about this project and hope to see it start soon.

    Yes, it was designed for Invader's Bay in the Port of Spain. It is no longer an active project, however.

    the Gateway project is an active Movietowne development of 2009 consisting of 30m acres south of its current location..the project is to be launched soon.

    I think this would have been so good for Trinidad and TObago.... shit man... d Government have the money...lol
