It makes me so so happy to see how much General has improved since he came into Claire’s care. He seems like he’s always so energetic and happy to be alive. Is he a permanent addition to the family?
My 2 oldest cats are both 22 years old... so in my eyes, General is a kitten. A beautiful and elegant kitten who has hidden depths of energy and deep resources of love to share under the direction of Claire's guiding hands and heart. Both Claire and General are remarkable. My 22 year old cats would send their love, but they are currently far too busy playing zoomies, racing up and down the stairs with a toy mouse. 😊
General definitely seems like a different cat now compared to when he first arrived. Even his eyes are different! I noticed his eyes looking like crackled glass last time, but now they're looking more like a normal cat's eyes. Lots of love and happiness do have the power to transform!
Thanks for this idea! I just bought one and plan to try this with my 4 female cats next weekend! Two of my girls have tried the treats in floating saucers in water buckets like you did previously. They did well but we've never done a jumping challenge. I hope it goes well.
General is getting stronger everyday. At least everyone has accepted him into the family now, well, almost. It took a little time for Nana and her boys to be accepted. Not to mention that Toto and Dodo were just kittens at the time while General is a senior citizen. Nobody has tried to get into an actual fight with General, I don't think. Not on any of the videos that I've watched at least.

It's hard to believe that General is 18 years old. He looks so much better now, like, a completely different cat. General is even wearing a bow tie. Just look at him! Simply amazing!

Claire's big laughs are the best.
