Super fun space. Great job pulling it all together. What is a pompom system? What do you use for artist study?
Thank you so much! For the artist study, we are using AmblesideOnline! And we use pompoms as a way to reward good behavior and once they fill up their jar with pompoms, they get to pick a ticket from my mason jar. I created the tickets in Canva with special treats on them, like “Lunch date with Mom”, or “Pool day” or “30 extra minutes of tv”.
This set up is really nice! I believe I saw you purchased both BYL and Torchlight, why did you choose to follow BYL most?
Thank you! We are still pulling some of the geography specific books from Torchlight Level K and incorporating them into Build Your Library level 0. But we chose to use Build Your Library’s level as our main curriculum because it was more cohesive than TL, with all its subjects, surrounding the country/region you are learning about that week. 🥰
