Big thanks to @BriManeely for suggesting this challenge. The goal was to complete a Super Helldive mission without using any red, blue or green strateagems, limiting my options to only resupplies, hellbombs (for side objectives) and whatever i could find during the run. Not gonna lie here, it was quite challenging and required a lot of sneaking and resupply planning (especially with the +25% cooldown modifier). I gave it a few tries and this was the best game so far. Should i reattempt in order to pull off a deathless run? Anyways, i hope you enjoy!
This was hugely impressive, Sarge. Probably my favorite you've done yet. I don't think I'll be attempting this challenge though. I'll leave this one to the professionals. I would love to see another attempt someday for deathless. You just happened to have gotten caught in the open and had your stims interrupted. Bad luck.
Interesting that the mini-nuke destroys the air base control tower without completing the objective. I was curious to try this myself, and honestly it seems like a bug
Ok so I have a running theory regarding stealth extractions in general. I think the reason why bots sometimes just fire a flare or start shooting at you is because when they get close to the extraction beacon they get into aggro state and you can sometimes see them shooting at it. And I also think that when they get aggroed and you happen to be in their line of sight they obviously just start attacking you. And.... :P I also think they always see you in standing position when they get aggroed no matter if you are prone or what because of getting into aggro state from extraction beacon, that's why they spot you even on top of some rock because you seem to be standing up for them and the detection range with scout armor is around ~39m when standing and extraction radius is 50m. So I think you have to really brake line of sight using a solid object or at least consider your standing posture while hiding. (destructible buildings and other stuff like that around extractions in most cases doesn't seem to be a "solid object" but they sometimes work so idk) Because notice how you can't just go prone behind a small rock when being chased by aggroed bots from the bot drop and get away, but braking LoS with a bigger rock, cliff, trees usually does a trick
bro thats sick, i got just under a full clear soloing super helldive one time, used stratagems and recoiless. Would love to see you do one of these on Clasa, as the woodland environment would be cool looking for stealth missions

When you drop in you can immediately call down stratagems, but after that no more. You can only use what you originally called in and what you find. If the mission you're playing isn't possible without them (like the orbital guns mission), make an exception for Hellbombs, but nothing else after your initial drop. RP could be your stratagem pad broke. Alternatively, Constitution only run. No stratagem weapon, no side arm, just the Constitution. Every other stratagem allowed.
add a PS5 controller, and this is how I play. between me instantly losing all my gear & never recovering it, getting fragged by my teammates, and then running as far away from them wo taking resupplies, I've evolved into the same unnatural beast
Sarge! Any shot you revisit Dominator? Seems to have been stealth buffed - less ADS, faster projectile speed, less bullet drop, but larger spread and more recoil per shot.
I just prefer bots, they're much more fun to play against imo. But since there were some requests to post a terminid run, i asked my Democratic Officer to send me to the bug front and he agreed :) Will probably publish the footage tomorrow
I'm still curious. When a player character dies, then the one who replaces the dead player character is essentially also a character, only his consciousness was transferred to a pre-made cloned body?
nah every helldiver is a real person with a family, I like to imagine they’re watching the minimap update at the war table so they can pick up where the other helldiver left off
@@Masterchiefandcommandershepard I think we as players are technically the super destroyer We chose it's name, upgrade it, buy weapons for our armory and use abilities (stratagems) to kill things. The helldivers are just another one of our stratagems

Forgotten diver additional requirement is no resupply. I think he will need crossbow to destroy fab instead of thermite.
