There’s no coming out of a pork pie. The speed you’d need to travel to escape is faster than the speed of light, which isn’t possible. First, you’d need negative mass, and second you’d reverse time. Similarly, time in a pork pie travels toward the centre. Even if you could travel fast enough, time is flowing against you. There’s no escaping the singularity at the centre. If anyone actually gives a shit a year later, mass dilates around a black hole cause of spacetime curvature caused by the gravity of the black hole, meaning craig basically gets heavier (technically just more massive). Mass is proportional to length dilation because the cross sectional area (aka craigs waist size) stays the same, meaning craig's getting stretched out (but not getting wider). As length dilates, so does time because length is equal to the integral of craigs velocity with respect to time, and since is velocity isn't affected by the spacetime curvature, his time is dilated as well. Effectively, to a distant observer, craig's watch could take a year for the hour hand to move from 11 to 12.
Limmy - idea for new improv story - a guy (Craig) from a posh Edinburgh family goes to Glasgow to study, he meets this beautiful girl(fae Glasgae) - falls in love, they get together but after few weeks he just can't stand her accent...he is too proper and polite to just break up so he starts to sabotage their relationship....
Yeah time would be going slower inside the black hole, so you could use it to travel forward in time. Its cause of the gravity or some shit, time is affected by it too, according to like Einstein and that.
The pork pie itself would need to have collapsed into the black hole first. It wouldn't necessarily drag the folk into it unless if it was particularly massive, and if that was the case then the pork pie would never have survived long enough to get it back from Tesco Metro. Supposing that it did, they would have seen the pork pie collapse in on itself and generated a lot of heat, becoming the only heated food item to retain the heat it had in the shop by the time you get back to work. From there I imagine then it would sink into the floor of the Nasa Command Centre and start gobbling that up, generating a lot of heat and cooking Craig alive before he is dragged in with everyone and everything else. Everyone would die very quickly and eventually the whole Earth would have been swallowed into the black hole to join all the pork inside there.
