nice video and training , i have an issue with vsphere 7 custer unable to do vmotion and end up with an error "the action is not available for any of the slected objects at this time" please support on the fix ways
Sounds like an issue with vCenter Server thinking there is some sort of outstanding task running. First I would do a few things. 1. Try a different browser / different station to do the vMotin from - In case it is a browser issue. 2. Does this error occur if you try to vMotion others vm's and VM's on other hosts? 3. Check the health of the cpu/mem/databse on the vCenter server using the vCenter Serve Management interface (port 5480). 4. All else fails I would shutdown vCenter server and powr it back up (make sure you do a clean shutdown and don;t just power it off).. Keep us posted.
I don't want to say it is impossible (Nothing is impossible).. But I highly don' think you can do that.. Connecting the T1 to the T0 NSX auto plumbs an Overlay between them.. So to control the traffic between two different T!'s, best to use the DFW, is much more efficient. are dropped at the source filter and does not have to go across the wire to later be dropped by an Edge Node (which could introduce Hair-pinning depending on the locations of the source and Destination VM's. Thanks for watching and have a good one..
So easy to understand the subjet. Keep going.
