Please review the Maxima Amator speakers. I had the Nova V at one time, then went to Monitor Audio Platinum PL500 II and now the Maxima Amator only due to serious downsizing for an upcoming move in life. Also went from the McIntosh MC1.25KW and C1100 to an Accuphase E-800. I miss the scale and impact of my previous system but not the musicality that I still get after downsizing. I think the front end is the most important in the audio gear chain, I have kept the Aurender N20 and MSB Premier DAC.
I have focal aria 926 with an Arcam SA30. Great pairing as my entry in hifi. I hope to one day elevate to Sonus Faber ( being of Italian extraction myself) , very beautiful 👍🏼
I think mac sounds best with them. Others are less money and still amazing though like Parasound Halo....Cambridge Audio and Musical Fidelity are others I love. If you want to reach out through my site I can assist you. We do jobs all over the nation.

Great speakers by themselves. By now looking to upgrade. I hear tell that MC1502 Tubes need an 8 ohm impedance. Is that right ? If 4 ohms work then the Nova 5 would be my go to.

they are less energetic....but super detail. Still really good. Similar to Dyn...and also very good speakers.

Will a mcintosh mc1502 pair well with the nova 5? I have the amp and thinking of these speakers
