Curious about modular synthesis, electronic music, and sound design, but unsure how to get started?
I have something for you! Join my FREE "Intro to Synthesis" mini course here: www.soundandsynthesis.com/firstpatch2022
PS: You don't need any special gear to do this-just a computer with VCV Rack (which is free to download).

Amazing sounds as always! I'm looking into designing my own pedal for a messed up atari or commodore64 sound; a uniFX could fit right in!

So clearly explained and demonstrated, Sarah! Thanks for sharing, and we hope you find many more beautiful sounds in your sonic experiments. :)

Another excellent video. You have a habit of making things I never knew I needed into essentials on the wishlist :-)

I've always struggled with the different levels coming out of modular TBH. I need to invest in a decent output module (if you have any recommendations). Also having a send/return module is such a good idea, so this is a great video for explaining how this would work. I have seen something similar by Adventure Audio called the Merge module, which adds an envelope follower as well (which looks super useful)

Of course we'll plug our own product here, lol, but our new Monitr is an output module probably worth looking at. Cheers,. :)

Does the euroroack out (on the top left of the module) gives stereo signal? Asking this coz I wish to integrate HOLOGRAM MICROCOSM with my Euroroack. Thank you and great video!

Only mono. But Boredbrain has another module that has a stereo send/return.
Check out Xchangr, and all of their utility modules and you'll find what best suits you.

Hi Sarah. I asked you recently about the slightly poor -for me- sound quality of my guitar going thru a Doepfer A119, and you advised me to turn the gain down, which helped. But still, the dry signal was quite diminished. With the balancing the Unifx does on IN and OUT, would that improve the Dry sound of an external instrument when put into eurorack, before you start processing it heavily, say, as it goes into Mimeophon? Thanks, John

Hi John, if the A119 isn't the flavor you're looking for perhaps check out our Injectr module. Its specifically made for.....er.....injecting guitar into the module world (also has a few other useful tools onboard as well). Best of luck!

thx for this video… is there a way to send the oscillators of the hydrasynth directly out from the mod1 or mod2-cv-output?
