I bought the arcadia mini UVB kit for my budgies , i put it on for about 3 to 4 hours , ive noticed great improvement in the feathers :) might get the one you shown next time :)
The two bolts that are included are way too short. The armature is too short as well and the mounting bracket is cheap and did not work with my light. Other than that, it’s a great little light. I went to the hardware store and bought all stainless steel longer bolts, fender washers and a wing nut and now it’s fantastic!
I have bought this and unable to fit to the cage it goes at an angle near the top and the screws seem to short would appreciate some help on fitting this light
It’s not you, the bolts are actually too short for easy installation - worth a trip to the hardware store for slightly longer bolt and open ended but though - great little light once that’s addressed.
Thanks for the video on the puresun bird lightening. But it would be nice if you actually went through stage by stage fitting the light onto the cage, rather then whizzing through it. This would really help

Charlie Creed nice purchase! I don’t think you’ll regret it! I have it on for 8 hours a day. About a month after putting them over my birds, my budgies bred for the first time and now I have another 6 hungry mouths haha!

I have had to separate my love birds due to to bickering which I think are both females but only have one light for now, should i do 3 hours in one and then 3 hours in the other my cage ain’t as long as your one for the budgies but still a big cage, thanks for you guidance 🤪✌🏻lol
Charlie Creed might be best long term to buy two lights. Or you could even just run in for a week on one bird then swap it to the other for the next week. Better than nothing.
I never had an issue with them when I used them. I know longer have my birds unfortunately but I run it for 6 hours a day and my birds seemed to love the lights.

Charlie Creed as far as the bulb goes it should just twist into place once you have the connections aligned.
