Ranger poor damage? You ever tried titan string bow on ranger? You can drop your str to 8 and use Club of hill giant strength in one hand with a shield(or crit boosting weapon in the other hand, depending if you value damage over AC) Slaps so hard. Very fun. I ran this build as a drow using beast master to summon spiders with a one level dip into war cleric for extra attack and to be a cleric of Lolth.

Nice as someone who finds pure rangers damage to be pretty mediocre this will be interesting to see how you build it
