BY THE LIGHT OF THE MOON I tend to disagree, masses of reverb is optional, it's the endless layering upon layering that makes it special.
baldmosher I actually kind of thought it gave it an eclectic feel.
Not every cover needs to or really should attempt to sound exactly like the original

Judging by the skeletal development and muscle tones, this dude might have well been into his late twenties or early 30's, in my humble opinion ^^ could be a 20 year old on the hormonal fast-track as well of course, you can never tell by appearance alone, unless you are Bones ^^

I wouldn't use skin complexion for determining age though, it's affected by so many different things.

Like my father and his father. Our family line keeps a full head of hair until death, very late beard growth (mid twenties) and well, we look like twentysomethings until the age of 40-50.
I doubt you could tell me which photo is more recent if I showed you one from 25 and one from 40 if I were to cut off the head :)

This is one of the best cover video I’ve seen ever man holy fuck your vocals are so good
AWESOME job. Really dude, very good. The ONLY thing I want to comment on is what I noticed while you were singing. I can't find the video, but one method I know many use to approach their range comfortably is by adjusting the tilt of their head. What I noticed was on the higher notes, your head tilted up, while on the lower notes your head tilted down. In the video (which I can't find..), the trainer says to teach yourself to do the opposite, that way when you loosen for the low notes, your head is up and you are relaxed, and when you tighten for those high notes and screams, you aren't flexing more than you need to and the constriction is more natural. I'm just suggesting this since I've played percussion for 15 years and know that if a muscle feels stressed by the end of a session, serious injury is a possibility. And who knows, you might get a better sound. Just a thought. Good job though!
So I'm a brutally honest and extremely critical critic, and I'm going to give you an honest review: This song is vocally almost impossible to cover. Devy is just insanely talented, and has a range well beyond anyone I've ever heard(I can't even find a guitar that can hit the top of his range). Basically, he's an alien shapeshifter, and I'm pretty sure he'd admit to that. That said: I'm gunna have to give the instrumental an 8/10(good sound, but you skipped/missed a few small elements, and no reverb), and your vocals a 4/10. Don't take the vocal rating too hard. Anyone who can manage a 4/10 on Devin's vocals is a badass in him/herself. I would've been shocked, and frankly terrified, if you managed to nail his vocals, because it would be a sign that the end is nigh. Realistically, this was a great cover.

wow, this is pretty impressive, you are a good drummer and a good gitarist at the same time and you're singing abilities are beyond my expectations, i know a few people who are good at maximum two of those things, but you have quite clearly mastered all 3. the screaming was not pitch perfect at some moments, but i am very convinced you will master it in time

Your voice and style reminds me a lot of Daniel Gildenlow from Pain of Salvation (if you dont know, highly recommend listening to them. Passing Light of Day is a great album.) It's a well performed cover, but the vocals are a bit too prominent at the front of the mix for this song, I think. Well sung, but don't really blend in right.

Not too keen on the clean vocals. Great technique by the sound isn't quite to my style. That being said the fry work is good enough to make me wanna stick bacon on that stuff. Also, props for a "total" one man band cover. Not often you see that.

and secondly, perhaps more importantly, your rage and screams is perfect, but your sultry crooning parts are lacking
