Yup! The MK2 has a lot more effects than the MK1 and is much newer. Check out the battles from 2017-2019, you get a good sense of the evolution and advancements of the device/artists. This is also why Bizkit is so impressive just an fyi
Sort of. It has a midi sequencer that's used to sequence and pitch samples. They sample their vocals realtime and transform them into sounds using effects they've setup in different samplle banks. The sequences are pre-written and effects chains are all prewritten but they build the song on the fly by triggering, muting and fading tracks and switching effects in real time. So yeah, there are no preset sounds at all.
@@Vixxatrix Truth be told, nobody has made a huge improvement from the MK2 switch. I mean they're doing better, but nobody has improved so much that their MK1 routines are trash. Robin's best rounds are still MK1 routines IMO, Matej is using routines he made on the MK1, Brez too... Bizkit is great at showing how limited the MK1 is though, since he's using it to its full potential - and you can tell with how saturated and overwhelming he sounded against Robin. But once he switches, I don't expect him to destroy the competition. He knows his strength lies in the fact he's the best beatboxer and possibly best rapper among loopers, and the MK2 can't do tons to increase that asset further. He kinda benefits from those limitations - less effects to worry about, more time to focus on text and the drops he already masters.
@@falcon8752 I think Brez, Robin, and Matej shine way more using the MK2! Brez especially uses it in a way that is totally unique, same with Robin. I'd be curious to see what Bizkit could do with it. But I do think the creativity of newer loopers has gone down a bit.
Hi toast, i think brez to louder sound and maybe the judges choose avh this my opinion. And next up please reaction Bizkit vs Robin this remind me of 2021 maybe I think but this meet again kind like rematch
It is such a shame that Brez got nervous after sound check and changed his levels. He really should have won this battle, but by changing his levels his mix ended up sounding muddy. :(
Brez doesn't try thats just him doing his thing on the stage Plus he actually has major health problems so him performing as well as he does is crazy respect Also saying his loopstation tracks ain't well produced is weird to me He usually places high with his wildcards and are among the best parts of the loopstation category everything he competes
you're an idiot if you think hes a crowd hype merchant. saying hes won over a handful of wildcards that have no crowds. and to say he tries to hard.... is that your way of saying hes entertaining for the crowd and brings energy like no other? sounds like your a hater
So do they use their voice as like, a MIDI input for those sounds? These loopstations BLOW my mind everytime tho.
