The brand new, recently delivered R211A production subway cars 4070-4079 were sent out to perform burn-in tests on the A line. The new train cars have begun their trip on the yard leading out of Pitkin Yard in Brooklyn and entering the Euclid Avenue station, making all local simulated station stops up to the Inwood-207th Street station in Manhattan. From Inwood-207th Street, the R211A cars were then tested all the way down to the Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue station in Queens and back up to Euclid Avenue, where testing was completed and the train was sent back to Pitkin Yard for the night.

Great content bro
Nice grabs
Thank you!
I have more faith in this set than 4060-69 tbh
I’m glad they are doing the burning rest on the second set which will be coming this month for passenger service. 👍 for you men
So basically there running in passenger service in May
Wrong “there”
Only one set is actually cleared and is running in passenger service
@@boiii3productions945 oh ok
@@TramTrafficLightMan umm ok
That was the plan but the power failure last month has postponed things
R211A door chime literally sounds like that high quality R153's door chime NGL. Pretty cool in general.
Wow that HVAC turnoff was cool to hear more propulsion sound
When will the trains start for real service?
Nice to see the MTA finally sticking to a plan for the cars.
The delays caused by Kawasaki forced them to revise schedules on multiple occasions, and this presentation is just a stepping stone.
does this mean they passed the 30 day test then? seems to be a lot of confusion about that
Wait what is burn testing
what do the qr codes say
The next R211 leaked?
Sir this is a irl r211, not a openbve or a hmmsim r211
@@aManNamedSlope you missed the joke kid.
@@PickleRicksFATASSCOUSIN bro stfu + I'm 13 😂😂😂😂
Sehr gut
Can all of the Subway trains have to speak?
I just hate the tiny windows on the R211. No one wanted or needed giant LCD ad screens
It’s not because of the screens my guy but because of the bigger doors
@@BigPops757 My point is they could have made the doors larger and downsized the screens to keep the windows the same size
@@flightmasterr231 yeah the screens are a part of the window by the way that's why the screens are also smaller. If you want bigger windows that's too bad bigger doors are better.
@@cat5hurricanelorenzo880 Not bigger windows. The same size windows that already existed. It would have been a simple design fix. I'm not complaining about the bigger doors at all
@@flightmasterr231 but the same size windows can't be on that train because of the wider doors... if anything you are proposing a new design feature where instead of the doors going into the train they go outwards and open that way because tat pretty much the only way the same sized windows could work
People mess up the r211t men it sad
Guys unfortunately one of the R211T’s were vandalized
I heard and I was mad
@@dominiaries21 I was even madder
bluds were mad it happen 💀
They properly did that because it hasn’t started revenue service. Trying to make the MTA force it out for the yards to hit the tracks 😅
I don’t live in NYC or NY state but they need to start enclosing the yard depots to prevent crime
