Hello everyone!!! Remember this frame. It was in this framework that I asked your opinion if I should repair it or not, in the end I decided to do it and this is going to be the second episode of 3, that I want to do regarding this framework.
In this second episode I want to show you how to do the paint job, it has not been easy for me, since doing a paint job like that of a true master of color like M. Martini has not been easy and I have had some failures. But I am very happy with the end result. That's why I want to show you my way of working in this second episode. ¡¡¡Hola a todos!!! Recuerda este marco. Fue en ese marco que les pedí su opinión si debí repararlo o no, al final me decidí a hacerlo y este va a ser el segundo episodio de 3, que quiero hacer con respecto a este marco.
En este segundo episodio quiero mostrarles como realizar el trabajo de pintura, no ha sido fácil para mi, ya que hacer un trabajo de pintura como el de un autentico maestro del color como M. Martini no a sido fácil y algun fallo he tenido. Pero estoy muy contento con el resultado final. Por eso quiero mostrarles mi forma de trabajar en este segundo episodio. I just about flipped out when you started sanding chrome but wow what a fabulous paint job! Maybe someone can equal this level of skill and artisanship but certainly none can do better. You are the "Colnago Master" of painters👌

I have exactly the same frame and it's waiting for respray for over year. Amazing job. Especially that somec had probably best paint jobs. ( For me better than colnago and ponarell of the time a have both)

Las dos orejas, el rabo y vuelta al ruedo. No me gustan los repintados, porque muchas veces se arruinan el cuadro, y mas en este tipo, que son nivel experto... Impresionante el resultado, parece recien salido de fabrica.

Hi, friend!!! For paint to be sprayed on the entire bicycle, a 1.0 or 1.2 needle, to make blended paint 0.5 and for varnish 1.0. Hope this can help you. All the best ; )

Good day, another amazing job. Would you answer a couple of questions please to help me in my bike spraying.
After flatting the grey primer, it looks like you sprayed directly over bare metal with white......was this a white primer or any sort of special paint?
After spraying how long do you leave the fine line masking tape on, I have trouble with getting a perfect edge.
I bought one of those paint pens, brilliant aren't they 😁

-1st. When sanding the primer, if you walk around sanding a little, nothing happens either, you can apply paint without problems. In my case, since the frame is chromed, the chrome acts as a primer. If you spend too much sanding what you have to try is not to notice the steps between the steel and the primer. The paint is a normal bilayer white.
-2º If you mean painting the stripes, I remove the tape as soon as possible, that is, with the paint still wet. Use a shaping tape, if you use normal tape, it is very difficult to get a good result. With the varnish, I leave it about 20 minutes after having applied it and very carefully remove the tapes while the varnish is wet, because if it dries, it is possible that when you remove the tape you ruin the work, because the dry varnish sticks so much to the painting like the tape.
-3rd the marker is great.

Yes I use shaping tape, I've let it dry and it leaves a poor edge so will remove it in future. My next project is a frame which has part chromed seat and chain stays a d want to get a neat line.
